George Galloway, working hard, on a whole range of topics... 🙂👍👍
Plastic bottles should also be banned. Back to glass.
Much fresher too. Milk, pop, beer, water all tastes better from glass. Plastic is profit though.. just like their silly, muderous wars
Single use plastic production should be made criminal!! Why is it the tax payer who is punished? Stop the production in the first place!!!
93% reduction? I call bull 💩
Could you raise the NHS whose brown bag busted and its string is still unravelling? Save the NHS treaty!
Thanks for all what you do, Mr. Galloway.
Well said George
I'm convinced. Tories everywhere are incapable of answering questions directly.
Useless conservative minister may as well have said nothing. Question not answered.
A win for Galloway is a win for humanity.
God bless you, George, thank you so much for standing up for the global environment 🙏💚 The best prime minister we MUST have! ⚙️🇬🇧
All talk,no action by Tories. And Labour no better. Galloway for PM!!!
Who better to answer a question on plastics than the plastic man, Steve Barclay.
I hear Galloway has a glass chin...
How about just stop the idiots who call it recycling and dump it offshore?
It’s not just plastic bags but all plastic items that need to be curtailed.
Thanks George for speaking on this issue.
WELL SAID MP GEORGE GALLOWAY THAT YOU SIR. I AGREE 👍 .
In Hastings East Sussex .31,000 homes were without water for 4 days. Southern Water set up water collection stations, where people could get water.
It was being distributed in 2litre plastic bottles.
Over that 4 day period, you do the maths that is getting near to 1 million plastic bottles if they all used 16 litres over that 4 day period.
And when the plastic bottles have been used, where do they end up either in land fill sites or in the ocean..
This government is doing nothing about PLASTIC DISPOSAL.
Love it
I'd like to go back to glass
Will the govt support the 'global plastics treaty' ?........simple enough question.
No they wont
Proper old school environmentalism….not the Net Zero nonsense 👍👍👍
You know, it takes more energy to make a paper bag than it does a plastic one because the material is a waste biproduct of the petrochemical industry. "Just stop plastic" ain't a solution.
i'm no expert but did he just ignore the question?
Greetings Uncle Ge G and Family Massive from North London, Hope all is well and Logical. Did he say 93% reduction??? Yeah pull the other one, He means 93% in his Kitchen..... What a Muppet, Not Living in the Real world once again. Peace.
90 Million Tons of Plastics... WT.... Actual F 🤯
1.5tons per person per year. Over 4kgs a day.
@@everready800 sheah no one uses 4kgs of plastic a day. Where the F did you get that from. Thats 93 1.5 liter plastic bottles per day 🤦♂️
@Jimmy-B- I was doing the maths not saying they do.
@@everready800 yes sorry I guessed that.
@@everready800I think George went for a few pints before this, he said 90,000 million tons 🤦♂️
Well done in publishing and saying - Pride and victory belong to the axis of resistance and its allies, and humiliation and disgrace belong to the axis of evil and its allies - a thousand salutes to the free South Africa and a thousand salutes to the proud president of Brazil, Ireland, Venezuelans, revolutionary Colombia and the global student universities movement.
Every time George asks a question the tory at the box treats it like an attack
Much of the micro-plastic waste is spread on our farmland, in sewage dry waste, but nobody speaks about this!
Ceasefire now, UK.
Great. But did he answer the question?
I also did not hear an answer. I mean to start bulshiting about was it 93% reduction of platic bags use instead of answering whether they support a global plastic treaty just reflects how the huge majority of today's European politiicians are so ignorant to the questions they are asked without any political consequences, that they got used to doing so even more blatantly and arrogantly.
God bless George Galloway.
George is THE GUNCE. Yiddish word THE BEST
What's a Gunce?
Fruit /veg wrapped in plastic
Good they will get rid of plastic condoms .
Latex, from rubber trees! 🌲
Former England cricketer Monty Panesar has quit George Galloway's party - just one week after being unveiled as a candidate.😂😂
Steve Barclay is such a snob🥳
No answer then.
All the fizzy drinks, lucozade , pepsi, cola are sold in plastic bottles
What did they do about that
Diabetes medications.
When I emigrated to Sweden, 35 years ago it already had a compulsory plastic bottle deposit return scheme. The latest date for launch of such a scheme in the U.K. is 2027.
What a non-response that was. Answering the question without actually answering it.
"NO" was just too hard to spew out of that pipsqeak's mouth.
Will Galloway condemn the googly that Monty Panesar has bowled the Workets' Party - and does he consider this an issue emanating from the betrayal perpetuated by the Sikh Police in Hong Kong during the 1941 Japanese invasion of that British Crown Colony?
No more plastic straws wrapped in paper just paper straws wrapped in plastic!!
In 2016 the government increased the amount of plastics when TPD regulations came in restricting e-liquid to 10 ml bottles, I said back then and wrote to my MP at the time about this, what a stupid idea on both counts
Since 2012 Plastic.is forbidden in Rwanda Africa ! Since 2010 it is as elle in Congo Pointe Noire ! How come it is possible there ? Cause their politicians wanted so ! Plastic industry ( direct link relate to Oil Industry) is a mafia with politicians !
George I was waiting on the punch line at the end of your question. What happened have they got to you already. I don't think we can fit anymore plastic wheelie bins in our street. The bucket motor won't be able to get in. Might have been better to ask how all the depleted uranium shells are going to get cleared up.If there not already in Africa. That Westminster has sent the wee green man. All the best sir.
💐🌹💖💞❤️GREAT MAN! GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER. SHOW THEM THE WAY, THE TRUTH & THE LIGHT! THE TRUTH WILL PREVAIL BUT FALSEHOOD PERISHES FAST!👏💪👍🙏
bags are only a very small part of the problem, the majority is packaging material that can't be recycled.
I think that's a reduction in what supermarkets used to give away and doesn't include the bags you have to buy which admittedly do last a lot longer. It's also just obfuscation as it's a small part of the overall use of plastic. Like when Justin Trudope banned plastic straws. It won't put a decimal point in the total consumption.
Most of the plastic is on the streets... In Turkey. Isn't that right Rishi? Good job Biffa
The reason that PLASTIC BAGS are being removed is that they will be multipurposely USEFUL for cimmoners during a crises!
"Just stop plastic"? Where have I heard the like? I know, "Just stop oil"! Two blood related birds with one stone! Go for it, George.
90,000 million tons.. maths isn’t George’s strong point🤦♂️ or he went for a few 🍻
GG is doIng so well since hes been elected ...how does he fit everything in at his age? Inspiring stuff
The usual posturing from the MP for Gaza.
George, let's address the plastics and chemicals being sprayed in the air daily with geoengineering
Awesome
That was not an answer! How can they get away with this bull all the time....George you keep getting up their noses!
A 93 percent reduction in plastic bag is what people were charged for. Its also an insignificant amount of the total plastic being manufactured for single use. Theres no easy solution though. Glass uses a lot of energy to manufacture and if uts going to be on a deposit scheme, this us an industry in itself requiring a massive infrastructure wirh transportation, storage, cost if employment which ends up in the final product. Germany do it successfully but its nit without its problems and would take the uk years to put in place. There are also many products that just weren't available years ago but markets like bottled water and coffee pods are a modern phenomenon. Like, did you know that Evian produce 6 million bottles of water a day? They have a railway yard so they distribute that kind of quantity by rail. How do you get round the problem of plastic reduction with that industry?
Plastic is a very useful material and it shouldn't be deamoised. The awareness of the impact of our current plastic use is a good thing. This is just one example of how the world is getting slightly better. We should actually celebrate these little victories and not question them. The whole gender identity thing is another example of the world becoming a slightly better place, it's not woke or whatever that means to be supportive of that kind of thing, just accept that it's actually a bit of positivity that's getting a bit of press, we do'nt seem to accentuate the positive that much in the media because it dosent get as many clicks as the bad stuff, that's just human nature of course, but the media should try and sway it a bit more in favour of being a bit more positive.
Instead of hating the mainstream media for the influence they have, why dont we try and reason with them?
So in weight of plastic removed what does 93% equate to. 7bn bags have been saved and £276m raised for the treasury but no mention of how many tonnes of plastic
There's no
" W "
In " from "
It's never been fwom ...😂
Doctors have been finding microioplastics in their patients' blood
We will soon be being born with plastic spoons in our mouths.
Send it to Africa
All plastics should be banned except for the ones made to last for centuries, like my bakelite rotatory telephone of the 50s.
It's really simple.
But it doesn't make money
It's not that easy! The material for plastic shopping bags, for example, are a biproduct of the petrochemical industry. If it's not used for that purpose, what would you propose? Flare it off, maybe?
EVERYTHING HAS TO GO SOMEWHERE.
Why not hemp it would solve all the world’s pollution. It’s all about profit & money
Experiment Shots - you must dissolve the nano graphene in the bloodstream..
George im with you on most, but plastic has its uses. Sorry dude be reasonable. Household plastics have to be plastic. Unless we make everything out of rubber which is more expensive
Aha! But there are ways to make new plastics out of plants! (No wonder our current ones won't biodegrade: they're made of oil of rocks! 🤷♀️)
If you read up on the proposals it's not to ban plastic but reduce it's use where there are viable alternatives
@@sprogg2001 Good idea!
I agree but I would lay money on it that George meant plastic bags and unnecessary packaging.
A condom can hold 2 litres of water 💧 😅
Avoiding the actual questions narrative & going off on a tangent.
😂may I perhaps enquire from the Honourable Gentleman how many tons of plastic does 93% reduction of plastic bags represent in the scheme of 90,000 tons of plastic?
That's a lie their is more plastic actually being used.!!
minister beating about the bush with typical diplomatic talk. he asked you whether you will support the treaty?????
The reply about plastic bag reductions is just shameful and out of touch.. again. Stop sending our crap to Turkey Biffa
So the answer is No.
George a thousand million is a billion.
George Galloway "MP"...🔥...I LOVE THE NEW NAME CHANGE FOR YOUR CHANNEL.
Corporations are on board with not supplying plastic bags for customers. 😂 So progressive. They literally make more money when you tote your own bag to carry the stuff they sell you.
