My daughter & I were exactly there a few days before you posted this, around the 13th of July 2019. It is really a gorgeous little summit with a few all across the Geant glacier and the Vallee Blanche all the way down to the Mer de Glace.
Thanks for the comment, Martin. 🙂 I was solo at the top of Petit Flambeau on July 1 for acclimatization during my ascent to Mont Blanc, and yes, it is a really gorgeous little and undemanding summit with beautiful views.
@@frankwitte1022 No. The next day the weather was very bad, so I returned to Chamonix, waiting for better weather to climb the Gouter route on Mont Blanc.
