Well Done, rebuilding one myself. And thank you for a great video. If you need any parts let me know. Am guessing you have run it, did you use a ballast resistor to reduce the voltage to the coil? Now i have a second question, did you modify the valve seats or are you using leaded fuel?

Thanks!!! Valves have already been modified)) And I used coil from the other car, so no ballast resistor

@@GarageVintage Again what a great job, the research online told me that the coil 6-9 volt would eat the points, faster running at 12v. Coil and plugs are all happy on 12.

Сдается мне, именно с этого мотора срисовали ЗМЗ 402) и что бы не палиться, сделали все в зеркальном отражении)) ну и два горшка отпилили) и вот! Новый мотор собственного производства!)

Я думаю, что так оно и было. Хотя есть ещё у форда 215 мотор. В общем то такой же, но меньше объемом и старее чем этот.

What alternator did you use on this? And is it mounted with the original generator brackets?

Alternator is from ussr GAZ-24. And I don't know anything about brackets))) Maybe they are original...
