- Join me as I check out a variety of different attractions in Weymouth! In this vlog I start off with a ride on the Rio Grande Train around Lodmoor Country Park. Following this I check out Leisureranch, a small amusement park featuring Go Karts right next door. After this I head to Fantasy Island Fun Park located in Bowleaze Cove and ride an absolutely brilliant Ghost Train! I then make my way to the beach and check out the classic Super Snails before exploring more awesome rides and attractions along the sea front!

when are you going to alton towers octoberfest
Have you ever considered doing a small park (not sure if you’d count it as a theme park) called Knockhatch down in eastbourne, england
UGH Pontins what a awful resort!
“Not the rays from sea life”
I’m glad that it made someone laugh!
Ghost train was built in 2014! Also the back of the car park along with most of the car park actually is being transformed into new hotels, restaurants and entertainment venues.. not sure when exactly though
Thanks for sharing! It’s a lovely area!
That Ghost Train is awesome! And also - it's the only one I've seen that goes in to the RIGHT and out from the LEFT - pretty much every other Ghost Train in the UK goes I to the LEFT and out from the RIGHT - if you know what I mean! 😅
Such a great ride! That’s a very good point!
That’s an AWESOME ghost train! I love how it interacts with the play area too
👍
It’s such a great ride!
One of the best Ghost Trains in the Uk, just missed the fair on the seafront, Danters booster goes, also the super bowl and Superstar.
Absolutely brilliant ghost train 👻
The tower that was owned by Merlin and used to be in Weymouth unfortunately had some serious mechanical problems and the final straw was when it got stuck at the top and everyone individually on-board had to be lifted by Coastguard Helicopter after being up there for about 4hrs it never reopened and 2 years ago was finally removed completely. Great video and thanks for showing so well, how amazing Weymouth and dorset is love the content.
That dark ride was fantastic how it goes through the play area! Really unexpected
Brilliant ride!
you’re at my home town i could cry!! 😻 so lovely to see you film this honestly made my week!
That’s great to hear!
Great video showing off my home town, we spend many evening down at the beach, mainly smaller hidden gems beach along the Rodwell trail but Weymouth beach is different loved in our family, they don't have all the rides there all year but still plenty to do and see
It’s such a beautiful area!
Your dad jokes are on point Shawn lol
Loving this little tour of Weymouth
Thank you! It was a lovely day!
Hi shawn used to bring my now 20 year old daughter to Bowlaeze Cove funfair. We used to have a holiday home at Durdle door holiday park which is where you said the white cliffs were . We now own one on Rockley park holiday park in Poole . A little bit further out I prefer being near Weymouth and swanage. I went on the observation tower . About a year after that it got stuck at the top and it took 8 hours to evacuate the people by helicopter. It was removed soon after . I love Weymouth my daughter has grown up having amazing times there it's her child hood holiday place . Thankyou for sharing with us love to you as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
Thanks for sharing!
just finished working the summer in weymouth on a nice little camp site called east fleet farm, back at sandyballs now in the newforest gimmie a shout if ytou want an alpaca walk
It’s a beautiful area!
Been to Weymouth and Bowleaze a hundred times and never realised how much stuff there is behind the facade there, tried out the ghost Train for the first time today thanks to Sean, it's hilarious, people eating there lunch as I went through the middle bit, very funny as I cruised on by on the train, thanks again theme park worldwide for making life better, excellent ghost Train
So much to see! Thanks for watching!
We love Weymouth and the Racing Snails. The Helta Skelta has been there for ages. The look out tower kept breaking down. They had to airlift people from the top once. You used to get on it free when you visited the sea life. Its always so busy.
Such a great place!
The ghost train looked great! I've got to admit though that the snails are adorable. My friends are keen to start introducing their almost three year old twins to rides and I think that rides like this are fantastic starting points for young kids.
Such a classic ride!
God, what an amazing ghost train - the perfect mix of tacky Halloween decorations and genuinely creepy scenes! I had no idea that was there, but I'm definitely gonna give it a go now. This video was a great advert for the park - I bet I'm not the only one planning to visit!
It was epic! Thanks for watching!
A lovely watch as usual. The sealife is a lovely park - been several times! The Adventure Golf is also really worth a go! I went on the Ghost Train last year - its incredible! And the restaurant was full - was so random! I dont think my little 6 year old felt the same! We also had a go on the snails this year - great fun ride! I dont think the Viewing Tower ever opened again after it broke down high up and there was an interestiving evacuation involving a helicopter. We have been on the Viewing Tower in the past and the views were lovely so sad that its gone.
Thanks for watching!
Great Vlog and glad you enjoyed sunny Weymouth, my home town! Managed to ride the skyline tower a few times and was nice to see the views high up, you could even see portland and Chesil beach on a clear day. It even had a climatic last day of service too, it broke down at the top and they had to get the coastguard helicopter to lift people off. The condor ferries stopped a few years ago due to the pier being damaged but they hope to bring them back soon. Hope you come and visit again soon, have a good rest of the coaster season!
Thanks for sharing!
What a hidden gem that ghost train was! Thanks for showing us around sunny Weymouth Shawn, never been so it's great to see what's on offer. Can we expect Brett to make a cameo when you're in Florida?
Thanks for watching! I’m sure we’ll see Brett whilst we’re out there!
12:04 it's Bear, who is in my profile pic at the moment
Great video! We used to go there on holiday a lot when I was a kid in the mid 80s. Lots of happy memories and still have some photos of little me on the cars ride at Alexandra Gardens. I remember the ferries across to the Channel Islands too. Sure we went in a hovercraft from there once.
Thanks for sharing!
I was surprised that you weren’t already aware of the ghost train being like that…it’s had a fair bit of community coverage in the past, for obvious reasons. Still, it would have been a good surprise if you weren’t expecting it. Transylvania Express, which was at the steam fair, is a bit like that, too, having more content than you’d necessarily expect.
I really didn’t expect it!
I’ll be honest, I don’t suffer with epilepsy but damn, as good as it looked, they need to ease off on the flashing lights on the ghost train 🤪
It was pretty crazy!
Weymouth wogging the joyland snails utter cheek
I love going to Weymouth. The sea life centre is really nice down there and it's just such a beautiful place to go!
It’s a great place!
Omg i just realised im on the sign of pirate golf on exactly 7:00 into the video
Its so odd to see my home town from your perspective. Kinda makes me realise how i take this place for granted sometimes. Also the tower was absolutely dead, even at peak times. They then did a package ticket with the local land train which would take you from sealife, along the beach to the tower, but it still never really kicked off.
There’s so much to see! Thanks for sharing!
Shawn,
You REALLY have a rough job, I feel sorry for you reliving your childhood:)
Positively perfect in everyway, to paraphrase Mary Poppins!
Cheers,
Rik
I so knew it shawn I did see u I'm the guy in the stripy top outside the arcade at 30:02 in the video
Amazing! Hope you had a good day!
Amazing that you're making videos in Weymouth as I live locally. In fact, the Sealife centre here is where I got my Merlin Pass. Great videos!
Thank you! It’s a great area!
Your kids are gonna have an absolute blast with you
That ghost train is so cool with the horror props like leather face, Michael myers and Freddy kreuger would've been cool to have pinhead in there as well maybe replace the artwork of the xenomorph.
Ghost train looks like each room was based off of a different horror film. Saw Texas chainsaw massacre, the exorcist, Halloween, Friday the 13th, beetlejuice. Looked great 👏
5:23 GASPING for air after that laugh 😂 Great vlog!
Thank you!
Imagine eating your lunch and someone in a ghost train cart just slowly comes past lol
Awesome Vlog Shaun, we love all Snail rides around the world and glad to see another one on the channel, but thanks for the lovely comment! Can't wait to see the Flordia vlogs so I know what to expect when we head out early next year! Keep on riding! 🐌🐌🐌
Thank you! We’re so excited to get back to Florida!
Choo Choo train “backwards POV”! 🤣
Choo Choo!
Epic ghost train It went on forever lol I want to eat at that table with the train going by ahhaha
You big kid Shawn, but you know what, why not! I have memories of riding all those kid’s rides mainly at Joyland in Great Yarmouth my home town. Ghost train was a real surprise and I didn’t expect it to be that good. It’s been a while since I was last in Weymouth, 1991 to be exact. Nice vlog Shawn 😉👌
Thank you!
I love Weymouth. I haven't been since 2008. My kids were young at the time and loved the snails down at the beach. That "Speedy Coaster" that's gone now was the first coaster that I took them on.
Really enjoyed it!
Great to see Weymouth again only been once and we were lucky enough to go on Observation Tower. It’s was really good. The harbour was amazing and we went on a bank holiday when there was entertainment around the harbour
That was most certainly unexpected that hidden ghost train gem lurking behind the attractions and play area, This was a lovely vlog taking us on a trip down memory lane, I used to have loads of family vacations in Weymouth so many happy fond memories. Glad to see you enjoyed yourself you did look really funny on those snails 🐌 but why not enjoy these cheap attractions as you bargained a few coaster credits well done you. Looking forward to your American vlogs is Brett joining you in your amazing vlogs. Stay safe have a safe flight and journeys too
Such a brilliant ride! I’m sure we’ll see Brett again when we’re out there!
That train is so slow, you just might as well get out and walk😂
What a brilliant ghost train that was, genuinely creepy. They missed a trick not having Jack Nicholson poke his head through a broken door though!
Such a great ride!
we go here nearly every year for our holiday we love it, but must admit you've shown us some things on your videos, we never knew existed so keen to go again next year now. love Weymouth, we travel from uttoxeter to 😃 and my daughter loves your videos, watches them everyday
Thanks for watching!
Have an amazing time in USA hope there is a few travel blogs and driving vids and room tours and your live announcements cheers TPW crew
They’ll be so much on the way from our Florida trip!
I would always recommend weymouth as it was a place I grew up as a kid and a wonderful place to visit 😊. Everyone says they got 1 happy place and that's weymouth for me 👌👌
It’s a great place!
Really interesting vlog and great to see a mix of attractions in one vlog
The snails remind me of the ones at joyland Yarmouth love going on those ones
Love the snails 🐌
I live in Weymouth I've been on the paratrooper and the snails. I've been watching ur bloggs
oh... i often forget this is where i live, don't appreciate it enough LOL
Weymouth has so much to offer, even more than I realised after this video. That hotel looks awesome from a distance but sounds like it's in a very bad order. But that ghost train is deffo on the list next time we are in Dorset
There’s so much to see!
some guests told me about the ghost train it looks amazing so unique
The jurassic skyline used to be called the sealife tower. The reason it got dismantled was because it got stuck a couple of times
I'm wondering how You tube knew I live in Weymouth and recommended this vlog! Big brother is watching you lol!
Love it!
Shawn awesome vlog
Living your best life G O T A K O R
That's a great Ghost Train!
I loved it!
I used to go on this as a kid too it was so fun
Should be great waymouth 21:16 😂
My favorite video is when you went to Great Yarmouth with your parents
my back yard is you and charlotte standing side by side, so there will be no train fun time in my yard lol
awesome place Shawn been twice this year and back in September really nice place and everyone is super friendly
I was there last week, absolutly brilliant attractions for thr kids, looks like you got the beautiful weather too
There’s so much to do!
I HAD NO IDEA when they put that GT in they put that much effort in what the hell!! i would be too scared to go in but holy moly that’s amazing!!

It’s epic!
Love that ghost train Shaun and the fun adorable snails ! xx
Thank you!
Just recently had a week’s holding in Weymouth it’s absolutely brilliant
It’s a great place!
Love Ghost Train good scary scenes
It was epic!
Condor Ferry has also been gone for years now but there is talk of Red Ferry starting up a new service and that whole area for years now has had plans for a new Hotel and Entertainments complex being built on the Carpark and Ferry area behind the Pavilion Theatre it just hasn't materialised yet.
Thanks for sharing!
I'm so glad you finally got to experience this ghost train. Been looking forward to your reaction for awhile. It's a great one.
It was epic!
Fantastic gost train
Best ghost train from any other seaside resort.well done mate and well done weymouth !!
Such a great ride!
Beach up towards the harbour is massive and sandy
It is indeed
Beach looked really nice, ghost train looked pretty good👌👍
I'd consider the snails a credit. You probably get decent floater
Definitely!
Amazing vedios I don't miss them there fantastic thank you for sharing Shawn and Charlotte 💜💜
Thank you!
i just came from viewing your sea life video, i loved it!!
Thank you!
Think Weymouth was my first experience on a coaster. Would have been '66 or '67 when I was about seven or eight? I thought it was a Wild Mouse but I may be wrong. I loved it and became adicted. My Dad hated it as he had to take me! Although I did get him to take me on the Roller Coaster at Battersea a few months later.
Thanks for sharing!
When I was younger we used to go Weymouth every year and we haven't gone in years and watching this really makes me want to go
It’s such a great place!
Awesome vlog thank you used to holiday there when I was a kid had family living there so many memories 👍
It’s such a great place!
Love your videos Shawn
Thank you!
I haven’t been on that ride before, but it does end with Beetlejuice.
Would love to see you go trago mills theme park and garden centre near newton abott in Devon
I have never been on that ghost train myself but I was waiting for you to come across this one after seeing how good it is on CZcams!
It’s such a great ride!
Well considering Weymouth is 40 mins away from me, looks like I have a reason to go now, especially with that ghost train 🙈🤩
It’s such a great ride. Was really surprised!
Fantasy Fun Park is also closest to where I live now.
Good ghost train and big positive was the speed, some of them go at quite a pace and you're past things before you see them. Too much strobing though.
Such a great ride!
The owners of the Rivera hotel won’t be pleased with you Shawn , you thought it was abandoned 😂 it’s fully operational and just had a big renovation inside 😂
Thanks for sharing! It definitely needs some renovations on the exterior!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide yeah I agree
I went on the Weymouth Tower back in 2012, it gave amazing views of the surrounding areas, shame it was removed.
Maybe the charge for the Skyline Tower was too high.
Maybe so! It’s a shame that it closed!
That ghost train looks insane the best ghost train in the uk
Love the content
Thanks!
Nice place mate, we stayed at the big hotel place, they had few issues, but to be fair, we were just opening back up from Covid
Hopefully it’ll get sorted out as it’s a very impressive building!
You should come to the richmond north yorkshire fun fair that just opened
Google only shows ferries out of Poole, doesn't mean Weymouth still has their own connections to the channel islands and the continent
I’m going to Alton towers to see duel for the last time travelling Friday and theme park Saturday
Have a great time!
i live in weymouth and it gets so boring cus in the winter there is no rides or stuff until summer so it’s good when it comes but the ghost train is so good i’ve been on it twice
Wicked 👍👍👍👍
Been to Weymouth a couple of times I've stayed at the haven parks in Weymouth and love the sealife didn't know the fantasy island fun park was there we just spent time near the sandy beach and the amusements near the boats and observation tower eye at the top of the town
It's a lovely town
The parks are called Seaview and Weymouth bay they are connected together
Such a great area!
