Thanks for this. I used PiAware/SkyAware, but it doesn't show helicopters. I seem to be in a flight path and get buzzed by a lot of low flying military aircraft. We had a Chinook go over and it shook the house.
well done! iam feeder to radarbox since 2019, first with my old pc 24/7, next with raspberry pi and now with radarbox xrange2 setup. Iam on the #3 on spain ranking
Another great video Jason. As a raspberry pi fan, I need to look into this, as we recently moved from Sacramento up to southern Oregon coast. 73, Mike - KK7LL
Thanks for the video Jason. Make pick one of these up for the 978mhz frequency. I already feed for FlightAware and love it. As an soon to be pilot I use it to track my training.
Oh good deal! How is the internet when flying the smaller planes? I wonder if a program like this could be run on a tablet while flying to see other traffic around you.

Thanks for checking the video out! No kidding about the Chinook, those things are awesome!

Very cool! I didn't know there is a ranking system. I will have to check into that.

Thank you! Yeah, I've just started getting into Pi's too. Oregon coast sounds great! It get's so hot here, lol.
Great video and great product
Thanks Jason!
Thanks for this video, Jason. I've been using FlightAware and Flightradar24. This looks like a cooler package.
Thanks! Yeah, a lot of features are available on the pro account.
Jason, Thank you for the information on this system. I will check all this out. California. KN6BZG

@@HamRadioTV Adsb traffic is used on pilot apps such as Foreflight and believe Garmin uses it in theirs as well.
Very cool
Thanks Doug!
I could get into this
It is very cool to know what's overhead. Thanks for watching!
How come some aircraft dont send out a transponder code but a lot do? I thought all needed transporders on so they are seen all the time?
I know some of the smaller ones are not required. Also, I would guess some agencies can turn theirs off depending on the sensitivity of their flight.
How do you apply for a feeder on their website. Thanks.
KO4MAX hooking up Friday butt which tower to use ?
My son and I have been using FlightRadar24 for a while. He discovered "Loon" a internet by balloon system over Africa
Very cool Dale! I've heard about the different ways they get internet out there, what a trip.
