Correct but the UFC choose smaller venues because they can charge more per ticket. He keeps going on about the gate but all that means is people are spending more to buy tickets
@@vivalaskelton they don't play at stadiums because of weather concerns and, secondarily, they need enough big screens for all fans to be able to see the action. Retractable domes and fancier stadiums being more common will allow this eventually. I bet they do UFC Spain at Bernabeu this fall

I think the Saudi Arabia card will be headlined by chimaev vs cannonnier. Costa has been saying he has fight news and that he will fight in June, but wouldn't make sense for him to fight cannonnier when jared should be in a title eliminator fight, and costa is coming off a loss to Whittaker. So, that being said, the next middleweight fights should be: Chimaev vs Cannonier, Whittaker vs Strickland, and Costa vs Imavov.
Jones vs Miocic has been in the works since 2022 back at PPV where Pavlovich fought Lewis

Yup Tom is now the top statleader out of 4050 fighters with: shortest fight time, best strike differential, least bottom pos time and least bottom pos time as% total time. He also has 3rd most strikes p min and 4th most knockdowns p 15 mins. He wd be first for takedown defence with 100% and 2nd for sig strike accuracy after overeem if his fights lasted long enough to make 350 strike and 20 attempted takedown thresholds to qualify. Other top ten fighters incl Oliveira, gsp and Jim miller with three first each.
UFC 300 looks insane 💪 so many great fights from the early pre lims to the main card 💪 bring it on! I am looking forward to it!!!

I agree, but jones is a champion. Champions are supposed to fight the best contender. If jones wants to pick fights and have a legacy fight then he needs to vacate the title. This isn’t wwe.

If stipe wants to fight jones, he can do it with a victory over aspinal...i see aspinal decimating stipe...

It's not down to the UFC or Dana. It's the time. That's the hurdle. If at some point there are far less 4am US cards, then that's the only way it could change.

The fans wanted something special, a McGregor comeback, perhaps Islam vs Leon would have done it.

Said no one ever. That Riyahd fight card with AJ v Wallin, Wilder v Parker and Dubois v Miller was probably the most stacked boxing event in years. All of the others are the same, 1 main event taking all the money then a bunch of other fighters no one cares about putting their lives on the line for a paycheck of magic beans.
Can't even be compared with UFC numbered events for quality and entertainment.
