Crispy Onion Chaffle

Join my journey with all different food recipes..today’s journey is while on my assignment as a nurse staying in a hotel.
Being in a hotel can limit you food options greatly compared to home cooking, not to mention following your healthy eating choices.
Here is my recipe for crispy onion Chaffle:
1 egg beaten
1/2 c of sharp shredded cheese
1 sweet onion
Season as you like
Garlic powder and Italian seasoning is shown here.
1 egg = 2 Chaffles

Cleaning a chaffle maker after a blowout with cheese is a nightmare, but the cheesy, crispy chaffle is worth it. Lol

May sound gross to some - use waffler, while cooking, on top of bath vanity & clean towel, with vent on. Less food smell in your room.
