I got this monitor two years ago, and it’s still an utter beast. The price has come down massively and I’d highly recommend. A few side notes are that it does in fact support gsync, you just have to enable freesync and the gsync option will appear. Now it is not gsync ultimate (i actually don’t know the difference) like the g7 and above but it definitely works. Another thing is that the hdr is not real and it looks god awful, and should not be enabled. Other than that the specs are very high and price is also now relatively low making it in my opinion one of the best gaming monitors anyone should buy.
@@hubbleenjoyer800 fortunately I do not get black smearing. I do play warzone and I have changed my color settings so it’s perfect for my eyes. When it comes to Escape from Tarkov I occasionally have trouble seeing the deep blacks but I’ve gotten used to it over time. But I mainly play league of legends the most so this monitor is lowkey overkill for me but I love it, my favorite monitor by far!

That includes: dead pixel, ghosting, black smearing etc. I have returned it to the store I bought it from, and they later told me that the AV panel was completely broken, and that I could get a new one for free. The new one is scheduled to arrive tommorow, so i'l give an update when iv'e tried it out

@@GamersGuard Pretty late reply but I think they are both very similar. Which one is cheaper really. I don't see a big differences between VA panels. Only marginally. Dell s2722dgm fixed the ghosting, but smearing remained. Other than that, VA panels are vary in response times. But the best is still odyssey g7 or the new neo g7 and g9 / neo g9.
I've had mine since early March. I went from a 24" flat samsung to 32"G5. It has made gaming (on a series S) incredibly immersive. Highly recommend it.

Man i got 3 of them and love it for gaming even war thunder looks awesome with HDR and all 3 put together for ultrwide.But all most every game i play on them looks and runs awesome had no issues with them at all even war zone looks really good on them. But i did noticed the pic's on each were diff. when it came out of the box but i set them were it's cloes enough were the pic looks the same on all 3 (colour and brightness) i do agre with the stand it not bad but did not go up or down just tilts thats all so i got some monitor stand for the desk. but ya that said it's a good montior for gaming on not bad at all love it but this was a good reviwe on it thx Type-c
Guys i have a problem with mine. So I've been experiencing some flashing when game loads (for example in Shadow of War and other singleplayer games). Lowering refresh rate to 60Hz seemed to take the problem away, however recently, I downloaded Rise of the Tomb Raider and the screen wasnt running smoothly on any refresh rate setting, QHD/FHD, even after lowering everything to low settings ingame, it was just same. I keep my graphic drivers updated and my older 60Hz monitor didnt have any problems like this monitor twitching/flashing/frame skipping or something like this. I should also mention that im using the HDMI cabel that comes with this monitor and my GPU is Radeon RX480 8gb.
I have this monitor, and I'm thinking about giving it to my brother to replace his 720p TV he's been using, and I wanna up grade to a ultrawide. I'm torn between upgrading to either a Gigabyte G34WQC 34" or a ASUS TUF Gaming VG34VQL1B 34”. I'd like your thoughts on which one I should go for or stick with this one. It'll be for gaming mostly and video editing.

I have the asus vg27vq which is 1080p and am absolutelly happy with this !!!! Its an awsome monitor very good colors and for me is just perfect as a casual who didnt try to find every single negative thing to my monitor !!!
@@Chris.Thanopoulos IPS has less contrast but has the best collor acuracy you can get, I have the the Samsung G7, one TN panel acer nitro x252q and one ips panel LG 27GP850B, and the ips has by far the best collors u can get!

had this monitor for 3 days and returned it blacks look way too dark with no detail and because it has peak 250 nits brightness it makes the black look worse response time was great only downside was some ghosting
G-Sync, is it possible? And also 2500 contrasts and 250nits… that's just specsheet reads, everyone can do this alone! What's the actual numbers? … some time gone … rtings has it: ~3000:1, G-Sync compatible over DP. This values are for the 27", but the contrast there is also advertised with 2500:1, so it's very likely the same VA tach. And the electronics are the same for sure.
You can buy the G5 - 32' with an extra 3 year garauntee for under £350, how's this not a bargain.. needed for nextgen Consoles 120hz & over locks to ensure good fps.
That's why I just bought it. I wanted something to be able to run 1440p 120hz on my Xb Series S but didn't want to drop a ton of money. Amazon has/had refurbished ones for ~$260. and mine should be arriving tomorrow

the new book 2 comes with this monitor for $1,100 and even better.. $1,249 for core i7 model but it has 8gb instead of 16gb which would be good for gaming. ugh and you can't go higher
I dont recommend it for ps3 it will go back to 60 fps and you wont see a difference since its made for pcs. But there are other monitors that are great for play stations

Very few GPUs let you game at 4k 120 fps so why this comment? This is a gaming monitor after all. And if you could afford said GPUs, you're def not looking at a G5...
Nothing hapens, the monitor only "shows" 60 frames per second, the frames is there but the monitor doesnt have the capacity to show it, u just puting more stress to your cpu and gpu mostly.

your gpu is very bad for 1440p
The flashing is probably gsync, mine does it too. But it usually only lasts a few seconds

Apex legends is unplayable on this monitor. Neither was Nioh 2 for me. Ghosting is too big of a problem even though I'm not a hardcore gamer.

32 inch 1440p is just a too low PPI in my opinion. The best resolution at this size is 4K.
