I had this printer and returned it. Compared to the other dye-sub small format printers I found the colour accuracy to be too poor, and often images are way softer than I wanted them to be. Pity because I like the device. I've found the Canon square selphy dye-sub printer to be a massively better print quality (although the paper/ribbon packs are £££!). Thanks for the video.
Thanks a lot, and very true, the Canon Square Selphy is one of the few that I considered because of its superior image quality, at least according to the reviews I watched. But the higher cost of paper over time is what drew me to the Kodak instead, which I think also shines when it comes to colour accuracy.
If the price difference isn’t too big, I’d say go for the Mini Shot 2, because even thought the camera won’t be super high quality, it’s still like cute little instant camera plus exactly the same printer as the Mini 2 Retro. I actually wanted to Mini Shot 2 but got a really good deal on the Mini 2 Retro.
@@RiejWoode yes that’s what I was worrying about. The picture quality is probably not that great but it still holds the possibility to take an authentic shot, and if the pictures printed from the phone are the same, I guess it adds a plus. Thank you so much for responding ! I was so lost haha
It’s a really good printer and especially compared to other printers in its category, it’s the cheapest by far in terms of outright cost and even long term use. I suggest you get and try it out, you can always return it if you don’t like it.

Do you know if this printer supports the zink paper? I bought it and now i can't find any cartridges 😢
no, from what I understand. it doesn't.

@@KineticRhythm21 yeah, it does need replacing, there’s 3 cartridges in a pack when you buy replacement cartridges, and each pack can print 10 photos

It can technically do it, but not recommended cus it’s not gonna be good.
can this print from a computer or anything like that?
well it needs a mobile app so I don't think so, it might work on an iPad or tablet though if it can download the app
