This is not only a great march, but also a fantastic PR excercise. Lets analyse it:
First, it talks about how numerous his army is (two hundred battalions), and how well supplied his soldiers are (sixty shots per man)
Then, about how our enemies envious of our lands (Silesia and Glatz), while casually mentioning how rich we are. Following that, it mentions the excellence of his subordinates (von Ziethen, von Keith). And next to it, it mentions how battle actually isn't that dangerous (If every single bullet were to go and hit its mark) and our artillery and morale is second to none (our cannons roar, they're a force that can contend
And a Prussian soldier's loyalty, is faithful to the end!). Finally, we get paid in time (In Prussia every soldier is always promptly paid!).
    It is a masterpiece.

Not sure if youd even read this, a little late to the party but one thing I would suggest for the lyrics as a native english speaker who likes poetry a lot is instead of "Goodbye my Luise, will you wipe away those tears, your man is a soldier who marches without fears!" I would make tears and fears singular. The problem is while "marches without fears" I suppose is grammatically correct, it just sounds weird and stylistically wrong. So Id just make it singular "marches without fear"-- that sounds much better. And for "Will you wipe away that tear?" that sounds just as fine as 'those tears', especially in literary setting like this.
Also envy is pronounced like en-vee and not en-vai, unless you going for a particular rhyme. But you have a very good singing voice and I can tell you are a pretty good English speaker. :))

At the Battle of Waterloo, not only Prussian Germans were there. The English king gave his Hanoverian royal German legion.
They held the key farms around the battlefield for most of the battle

You know a problem many songs like this have that are translated is that of word stress, where the rythmn of the words just does not flow properly if you listen properly. Not here. The translation is such that the original meaning is preserved while the words fit within the verse and the music. Bravo

      1. O sagt, könnt ihr sehen
      im frühen Licht der Morgendämmerung,
      was wir so stolz grüßten
      im letzten Schimmer der Abenddämmerung?
Dessen breite Streifen und helle Sterne
      die gefahrvollen Kämpfe hindurch
über den Wällen, die wir bewachten,
      so stattlich wehten?
Und der Raketen grelles, rotes Licht,
die in der Luft explodierenden Bomben,
      bewiesen die Nacht hindurch,
dass unsere Flagge noch da war.
      Oh sagt, weht dieses
      sternenbesetzte Banner noch immer
      über dem Land der Freien
      und der Heimat der Tapferen?
      2. Am Ufer noch eben zu sehen
      durch die Nebel der Tiefe
      Wo des Feindes hochmütiges Heer
      in fürchtender Stille ruht
Was ist es, was die Brise
      über dem sich auftürmenden Steilhang,
      Wenn sie zuckend weht
      halb verbirgt, halb enthüllt?
      Nun erfasst es den Schimmer
      des ersten Morgenstrahls
      In voller Pracht reflektiert
      scheint es nun im (Licht-)Strom.
      ’s ist das Sternenbanner!
      O möge es lange wehen
      Über dem Land der Freien
      und der Heimat der Tapferen!
      3. Und wo ist die Gruppe
      die sich rühmend geschworen
      dass die Verwüstung des Kriegs
      und die Wirren der Schlacht
      ein Heim und ein Land
      nimmermehr uns lassen sollten?
      Ihr Blut hat schon ausgewaschen
      die Verunreinigung ihrer stinkenden Fußstapfen
      Keine Zuflucht konnte retten
      die Söldlinge und Sklaven
      vor dem Schrecken der Flucht
      oder dem Dunkel des Grabes.
      Und das sternenbesetzte Banner
      wird im Triumph wehen
      Über dem Land der Freien
      und der Heimat der Tapferen!
