To me, saying the oven is the best way to prepare these meals is missing the point of why anyone buys them.

The whole reason I buy a frozen meal is to microwave it. If I'm going to be cooking something in the oven for an hour, it's going to be home-made. Frozen meals and the meats in them should come out in decent condition. A meal like this especially, I can do much better at home, with sauces I prefer and with freshly-grated Romano. Also-my niece bought this and made it in the oven and because of the sauce, the chicken still came out soft and mushy. Taste wasn't great either. This is a pass. Maybe $3.49, I might give it a try. Hey KEV, I always felt that a chicken patty was pressed and formed and a chicken fillet was actually a piece of breast. This meat is the same as frozen chicken nuggets which is O. K. with me, but the most important item to me is the red sauce. If it tastes bland like a lot of jar sauces you can count me out. I know how real Italian sauces are supposed to taste and I'll accept no substitute what-so-ever.

That's a disappointment. I expected more from Bertolli. Cooking it in the oven wouldn't improve the taste.
it’s criminal that all these companies are allowed to say “1 cup = 1 serving”. Is this a side dish? Like should I pair with with a steak and potato? 1 cup of food is comically small for any adult. Most people are going to eat most if not the whole thing.
I’ve never er had a piece of breaded meat come out of the microwave in good condition… it’s always soggy and gross…
