  • This week I had some crazy moments and some wack ass teammates. Somehow I managed to pull some wins out of it, and maybe even give a little advice along the way.

Of course, my DPI is 1600 and my in game sens for both of them is 2.15. I was originally a hardcore CS player so I lean towards low sens.

Right after 9:55 you caused your team to struggle and be slightly out of position the first fight by being AFK at the start of the game and thus being a little late. You’re lucky the enemy wasn’t a full dive comp that knew how to use their CDs to quickly attack before you could have gotten there, TBH :). Also, why weren’t you reprimanding your own mistakes like you were in the game before that towards your teammate’s mistakes? Also, why did you lamp when the ball slammed right after you got there? Your team was all full HP and you had your AOE heals and the damage going out didn’t call for the lamp. That is “bad” ability usage. Why are you not getting annoyed with your mistakes but have no issue calling others out, even if they can’t hear it, it still affects your mental and thus your game play. You don’t know how many other mistakes you made (there are too many to count), but I almost never heard you getting toxic towards yourself like that. Why is that? If you’re going to react to others like that at least do the same for yourself so it’s consistent, right? That’s why we should focus on ourselves and what we can control. I’m being a little mean towards you, but only because I didn’t like hearing you constantly blame the others when you were making plenty of mistakes that also cast your team fights. I used to be like that, and I still am occasionally, but it seemed like you were very irritated the second something started going wrong in OW in almost every case (with the exception of a few where you knew you were going to win, like when you killed two at the first point and then died.) Had your team lost that after you died, I am willing to be you would have lost it. I know because old me would have done it too. Don’t let the game hurt your mental bro. It’s just a game. Most pros don’t get upset when they lose fights or even games. Why? Because they have a growth mindset and know they are about to go back home and analyze everything that went wrong so they never make those mistakes again or at least reduce the frequency.

Thank you very much for your advice. I will definitely say that I can get caught up in watching my teammates more than I pay attention to what I’m doing unfortunately. It’s something I definitely need to work on, and you’re right I should be calling myself on my mistakes. This is a prime reason why I shouldn’t play while I’m already tilted 🤣😭

The struggle of being stuck in lower lobbies is awful. I have people that play in masters and I hang no problem. But I swear people are so stupid In platinum.

Stg, and it sucks because I used to bed silver on my old account. Made a new account a few years ago (this one) and ranked plat right off the bat, and ever since then I haven’t been able to move up or down from plat. The ranking system is so weird

Newbies blaming the “broken ranking system” for not climbing, lol. Such a typical response. It’s okay though, I’ve been where you are at. It takes a lot of effort, but you can change if you really want to be better (not just at the game but a better person in game too towards your teammates). Also, just to show that the logic of your argument is broken, if the rank system is rigged and no one can escape their hard stuck rank then why are there still people that do climb and rank up? Could it be that you aren’t practicing the fundamentals of the game and your heroes correctly in the dynamic situations that we get in game and that is the reason you haven’t climbed past plat yet and it’s not your teammates because you are the only constant factor in all your games and those teammates are only with you one or two games at the most, typically speaking. Could be that you’re actually just coping because you don’t want to deal with hurting your ego by admitting you’re the problem? Just something to think about. I’m not trying to be mean or toxic though I’m sure it’s coming off that way, it’s the internet after all. I know exactly what you’re thinking because I’ve been there myself and it took A LOT of hard work to break my habits and stop being toxic (both towards me and my teammates), and if I did it, you can do it too. Just to be 100% honest, I’m still guilty of occasionally slipping up though, it’s not like I’m perfect. I’m a work in progress. We are capable of just about anything we put our minds to. No cap!

who wants to watch a video of you complaining for 15 minutes??

It’s not all complaining. I figured it would be good to show both sides of my games, not just cut the bad ones and film the good ones. CZcamsrs who do that aren’t being honest with their content, it’s just supposed to make them look good
