  • Hello and welcome to another book review! Today I am reviewing Illustrating Mathematics edited by Diana Davis. This fascinating book does not hold your hand when it comes to the math, but it showcased beautiful art and was a fantastic and fun read!

I always love seeing the type of art people make in relation to math.
I'm the same as you, there were a couple of times you read the description of some stuff and I knew the vocabulary, but not when it's with other terms I know.

Thanks for the comment, I'm glad I wasn't the only one! When reading this book, I noticed a lot of the artists/mathematicians were working on advanced problems from prestigious universities which likely explains why I was getting lost! But I enjoy challenging myself so this was overall a fun book with cool art ideas.

Ok, you really do learn something new everyday if you look. lol I would have never connected math to art. I am not mathematically inclined, but the art is pretty cool!

I really enjoy the topic of math and art because it intersects two topics that I normally wouldn't connect - and I have found some great books on the topics! Thanks for the comment! :)
