I ask because it seems like a hybrid between the two seems like the most FUN! Even if you don’t progress as quickly.
I really don't think the timers and values are even close to correct. What you do there is for a person that stays nonstop in the game, and just does 2-3 things all the time. You actually thing someone that just got the game, and follows your guide, will actually reach week 2?
I'd love to see you guys actually do this, with like a weekly update or sth along those lines. I think that would help alot for new (and more advanced) lifeskillers :)
@@boxofpears2 you forget these are players with 100 hours a week to play, nearly unlimited funds for pearl shop items and a PHD in BDO. I don't think they're anywhere close to what they could actually achieve. I made my first billion in 3 weeks having no idea wtf I was doing. I could easily do that in 2 days from scratch now. I know exactly what to buy from the Pearl Store and exactly how to spend my time...these guys are light years ahead, I say they're spot on.

So I play console. We are getting life Mastery with the introduction of Loggia gear this month. I have been playing less than 3 months. I am Guru 13 cook. I have +5 cooking clothes. With those J’a Hammer things we got, and Cron stones from rewards, I made 2 Pen weapons, and a Tet Ogre. Sold them to bankroll my cooking fund. Just spending time hunting featherwolves for meat, and stockpiling Honey, Milk, Eggs, and submeals for meals. I stockpile and stockpile, meanwhile never touching my Loggia Pen Fund. I dabbled a bit in alchemy, since on console, its far more profitable than cooking. Only been able to watch part of this before work. Really looking forward towards the end, and what I should aim for/work towards. This is great content. Much appreciated.
You should taken into account that you are assuming to play only 3 hours per day and you spend most of the time on gathering, farming and cooking and buying mats and travel on road, you also need to process mats before put them in production. We need to spend time on those issues of weight limit, inventory slot, lodging for worker and promoting them because you spend all of energy for gathering already none left for finding worker unless you are pro player in grinding with many alts and now trying life skilling . To reach the miles stone of Energy, contribution and amount of silver saving as in the video is impossible for newbie life skillers. In my opinion that they may be able to reach half of those number because doing everything in BDO are so slow and time consuming. It takes almost like forever to level up gathering after Master 7 (if we use full boost such as value pack, book of old moon, book of life, lifeskilling scroll, Life skilling Event, food, pets, tent, gear may give us 5% exp each hour gathering at Pilgim or Wolf meat; without all those boost we may get only 1-2% exp per hours and it will be even less after each level of gathering up. I appreciate the road map that you create for people to understand where to go, what to do and buy and the overview pictures but it is impossible for newbie who just start the game
Amazing video, I must have watched it 10 times. Someone said you only remember 10% of everything you learn so I hoping watching the video and revisit the video at different to stay on track. I do have one question, ON CONSOLE.... tet mano gear is not being posted, so I wonder what my other option if manos can not be obtained, thanks
You'll have to enhance it yourself or just wait it out. Honestly TET manos accessories are very expensive and not a noticeable difference till u have multiple pieces. I'd just wait it out instead of gambling. The cloths and tool you can enhance yourself

I recently sold my lifeskill gear to go back to grinding. It depends on what you're interested in and how you want to play the game. I switched for content mostly and gathering is quite boring
damn, i made my first 2Bil in 3 weeks of playing the game for the first time and u guys are getting a bil in 6 hrs lol, i need to step up. also i watched the whole thing and got lost but still pushed through. good stuff

don't know if someone else said but I don't think canape, +3 silver, seafood cron, advanced utensil and spirit stone give 1 second cooking. I think it is only 1.2 seconds. You need a verdure draght to reach 1 second or +4 silver,
So most of the profit in active gathering is made off of making cooking utensils and selling them on market? And splitting your active gathering time between pilgrams and ash forest getting the mats?
I am 280ap and I have a hard time making 500M a day… I want to know their actually break down… base onions and 250 energy and a few base items from nodes don’t make 500M in a day….
Hey! I've got some constructive criticism here. First of all, I love the "podcast style" of the video as I listened to it while doing IRL stuff. I loved the video, but I've got a big issue with the way you guys are calculating everything. While you were a little bit more conservative, Jordan is trying to push a full 30 days/month, 6 hours a day agenda of non stop, fully efficient work. While it's obvious you guys are looking at it from your own perspective, what "you" particularly would do, I think it's not that helpful for us viewers. If you were a more conservative and say, limited gathering time per day to 1h30m or 2h a day, and 4 hours total play per day, while also taking like 5-6 days break off each month, it'd be a MUCH more realistic approach for the wide public. I appreciate the fact that you were a little bit more conservative than Jordan (shoutout to him, as I've watched many of his videos and he's a great guy), but seriously, please take this into consideration! We know that you guys are capable of awesome results, but it'd be great if you focused a little bit more on us, the people who want to learn from you guys' vast knowledge for our own benefit. By the way, I love the fact that you've also got grinding experience. It'd be great if you threw in some philosophical thought about how much this would compare to grinding at later stages in the game (you did mention grinding multiple times at the beginning of the video, which was nice), how about switching to grinding sometimes not to burn out (doesn't need to be a whole lot of thought, just throwing in some comments like you did at the beginning with low spot farming), how about mixing grinding with imperials/farming, etc. Thanks for the video :)
But theyre not playing 4 hours a day and taking a huge break once a month, they calculated their progress over the time frame. Its not a step by step guide for you to follow. Just a theory craft....

Is the spirit stone really better than a sharp alchemy stone of life? I got my stone for 1b and I love it. Wouldn’t you only have 1.3s cooking with a spirit stone?
start with tri loggia gears and rented tool, earn til i have enough to buy manos tet tool and stick to it until i get tet manos costume and full tri manos accs that's when ill consider buying another tet tool.
This was great! Only quibble is 1bil from dark rift round. Maybe it’s different on console, but my last round made me about 150mil and that was my best so far.

personal choice. I try to split it up on different characters so i dont waste time running around. Definitely keep farming on a separate character at the very least
I have no clue how you are hitting 650 mastery at M1 so that you can use tri loggia butchers knife, my planner says im at 593 gather mastery. Unless I am understanding it wrong and you can use the knife to hit that 650 mark.
Do you manage farm with workers? I was following this guide and farm onion north of loggia and they are comstantly getting pest/prune. and took 9 hour to growth.. what does he mean by checking every three hours.

What would be the best way to setup alts for life skills? I currently use a farm alt and do everything else on 1. I thought about using a alt for gathering as can leave at a spot but then realised would never have energy as would be afking on a difference class. Any advice appreciated thanks
@@imPansy disagree best place to start life skilling is season, uncontested pretty much and imperials hand ins are usually free. Every one is concentrating on leveling and not life skilling so much easier on season.

bdo planner doesnt have oasis so had to pick the normal ramones for the picture. the only place we used our ap was for pila fe scrolls which is 100-130m /hr at 175 ap
Characters and topography are super easy. Just walk to all the spots and talk to them. Next is ecology. Make a ranger, grab a horse and ride it around while holding LMB.
From my perspective as a new player, seems maining life skills is the way to go for money. Assuming this is correct, shouldnt combat farming yields be somewhat buffed to match it? Even though im sure life skilling isnt entirely a simple process wont the exponential gains overtime disincentivize mob grinding altogether or am I missing something here?
fuuuuck, but is this game worth it??? I'm struggling trying to figure out if i want to play this game and this deciison shouldn't be this hard for a GAME lol
@@AsuraTheBass ye i ve learned a few things from then and major problem is with narchilean gear game has you skip all lower grind spots which means u never get knowledge from those unless you specifically go for it thanks a lot though
the money gains are super unrealistic same with the energy grind that thing takes not only a lot of time but also a lot of determination if u get bored easily ull probably just end up not doing it

@@Jeboo548 There are lots of recipes that don't require any gathering, whereas rough stones have to be gathered manually and should be the main usage of energy
is this a life skill progressing guide or a grinding money making guide to buy life skill gear. you should be investing your time into gathering or cooking and not grinding scrolls. AP and DP shouldnt matter. Regardless this guide is useful for new players that want to experience both sides.

Leighs tools 50 cp is worth, it pushes gathering lvl and you get a tool comparable to manos tri worth 1.1bil 200mastery
When I first started some random told me fishing no grind me tf 😂😂 overall i started exploring the maps npc , cb etc n all main quest

why do you not get the magical seeds for the onion instead of using the regular one from seed vendor? is it more money?

Yeah 1b is from 24 boxes approx. so 3-4 weeks of saving. Rng is rng . The prices should be higher on pc

Can you explain, why are you rushing Pick axe? What do you do with pickaxe that it will help on lifeskill moneymaking?

If you were to try this while working full time I have one question. How do you keep your workers fed all day if you can't get your PC?
Well if you really want, you could remote login from your phone like with parsec or remote google desktop app.
So does that mean these estimates are with workers not working all day?

If it hits PEN, yes you would lose your Caphras in the Item.

Characters and topography are super easy. Just walk to all the spots and talk to them. Next is ecology. Make a ranger, grab a horse and ride it around while holding LMB.
if you know what you are doing you, can get 500 energy in just 1 week

Assuming this is correct, shouldnt combat farming yields be somewhat buffed to match it?
Even though im sure life skilling isnt entirely a simple process wont the exponential gains overtime disincentivize mob grinding altogether or am I missing something here?
They did buff end game to be 250-350+m /hr

@@AsuraTheBass ye i ve learned a few things from then and major problem is with narchilean gear game has you skip all lower grind spots which means u never get knowledge from those unless you specifically go for it thanks a lot though
the money gains are super unrealistic same with the energy grind that thing takes not only a lot of time but also a lot of determination if u get bored easily ull probably just end up not doing it

You can use tools with high durability and use mastery gear instead of 1 sec cooking outfit to make it last longer

not sure if it was cut out. as a lifeskiller you'd be running back and forth between different gathering spots so the t8 is to save time

is this a life skill progressing guide or a grinding money making guide to buy life skill gear. you should be investing your time into gathering or cooking and not grinding scrolls. AP and DP shouldnt matter. Regardless this guide is useful for new players that want to experience both sides.
