The audio/vid is so great. u can see aesop clearly spitting all the words, perfect pace. it's just breathtaking. There's 2 channels that breakdown aesop bar for bar on 1st listen, who always add new perspective for me to his songs. Both end up at 45+min long videos! I've started breaking down just the 1st 8 bars cuz i think they're gnarly...

Guy at channel Fable Sphere, makes me awestruck w/ the quick, yet totally logical interpretation of most bar but he doesn't 'enjoy' it the way Black(ish) does. No one on youtube has more Aesop reactions than Moseefus but he doesn't deep dive. he'll pause & rewind & say a dope line but doesn't give his thoughts on what line means to him asmuch as i'd like
HipHop Junkie enjoys aesop reaction the most. he is a lover of good music & jumps up & down, make stink face. Best aesop reaction ever, imo, is HipHop Junkies & he young teen son listening to 'Jumping Coffin' that u just did. At one point his son says, 'if this was a religion, i would join it right now'.
idk if you've ever heard mashups of aesop's work, but the Portisehead vs Aesop album is awesome & so is the Tom Waits vs Aesop.
If you want cool channels that don't have aesop content, & since ur lover of nature on video, u'd probly dig Casual Geographic. He does uniquely interesting animal facts w/ hysterical deadpan jokes about the animals.

Impressed af with your affinity for the real life topics hidden in this work. I suggested Tuesday because i considered it C tier as far as depth, something beautifully done but relatable in a single bite like Kirby. Churro and Acid king are damn near S tier ase songs, so kudos to you yet again.

@9:00 'don't know what to do w/ an Anton Lavey reference...'like he looked into my childhood for a second' ... so cool bc i didn't get/know that reference until u said it! it seems that the stuff that is cryptic to some, truly moves someone else. it's like a way for him to not only add depth, but width/breadth to his art. that the more dialed-in yet obscure a reference might seem, it is reaching some heads in the fringe tangent that are down w/ us Aesholes, that are down to go to war defending beauty i've found that 90% of the time, a line that i would'v edited out, 5+ years later it becomes sacred treasure to me so if idk what he's saying i know it's a hidden treasure to be dug up later. OH YEAH & THIS WAS AWESOME & NEVER THOUGHT I'D SAY THAT ABOUT THE MALIBU KEN ALBUM

@@zach8265 Blues band with Tim - Yes, I played inside prison band with dude. I've talked about it on the channel, one of my friends snapped and did in his folks, I knew "him" when I got to the joint, so I had an "in" with lifers. Not a common thing but in my case, I had a few friends who did horrific things no BS!

I believe Purple Moss is a personal track, like One Of Four, because he refers to Barcade. That’s the last song he did with MF DOOM before Doom passed away. I didn’t catch much of what he meant, but the beat was introspective.
Anyways, thanks to you, I am now obligated to buy this album. It was difficult to get past the synth beats, but this reaction sold me on the project as a whole.
I think when Aes releases his next project, I’m gonna wait until you react to it before I listen to it myself. I really enjoyed “sharing” this reaction to “new” Aes material with you. It thoroughly enhanced my experience and helped me to push past my superficial preferences so I can enjoy this album

You may wanna try some Lice some time. They have 3 x 5song projects, and it’s a fun vibe, Homeboy Sandman brings some levity to balance Aes, and they have some real bangers in there. My favorite joint is Yoohoo, but there are others. Maybe for you I’d probably recommend Get a Dog, but not as a dedication, if that makes sense.
