Hey Zach, thanks for the great video. Did you install the tires yourself, and if so was it a hard thing to do? I just got a 2020 model and thinking of doing the same thing.
Just look up drz400 bikemaster shift lever or rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F162579424285 This is where i bought mine

Funny you ask that caz i been using to high of psi until last week i tried lowering it some and it made a huge difference on off roading. I was like 20psi. Definitely to much for off roading. Now im like 12 or so. Still experimenting
@rotz357 Right on! I just put my new set on. My old ones were bald and I was really use to them. Now I feel like my confidence is shot. I lowered my front to 22 and rear 25. Still swirley on my wheelies and front is sketchy feeling going 60. Think I should go lower? Maybe my front tire didn't beed right?
@jbird73 im like 15 rear and 12 front. But i mostly off road, like i said idk what to run really. But so far bumpy rocky roads that psi was so much smoother than 20psi
@rotz357 Yeah. Seems like you said, just gonna have to play with it. My last set lasted forever, so it's like a new game. Thank you for reaching back, bro. You give me more confidence about my gut to lower the psi even more. Cheers to the supermoto Golden Boys pioneers cause their rad when their on it...
Can I ask how the tires did in gravel, I looking into doing a little gravel driving and using this set up. It can be slightly loose at times but usually has a place to keep it planted. Only thing is the cross over more loose stuff for moving over to oncoming traffic. Sm model also.
I had hand guards before on a different bike and i got them for protecting the levers and grips. But they broke everytime i dropped the bike. This bike i almost never drop so dont really need them
I love that you are so concerned about your bike license plate but show your car's... haha... thanks for the video. good info.
Nice Share!!!
Love the grand dad style riding bike and like the seat height suits this grand dad heaps..
Well i couldnt do donuts on it unless i got more foot on the ground
Now i can do donuts

No i only took the wheels off myself and then took it to a mechanic
Can you link everything you have so far
can you share the link for the tip and shifter , just got a 2020 same color with blue seat :)

This is where i bought mine
look up drz400 SDT exhaust tip
Thanks man appreciate it
Is your front tire actually a "front" tire or you just got a 4.60 rear for front?
4.60 rear tire
Did you mount a rear tire on your front rim? Can't seem to find a tire for the front .
Its a rear tire. 4.60 shinko 244
@@rotz357 Thanks, i was wondering about that. Now I'm off to find tires.
The exhaust tip doesn't change the sound. That's a placebo effect.
It definitely made it sound different. Sounds alot better with this tip than the stock one

I know it's been a min but do you remember what psi you were running in your 244's?
