    I did my first really good bunny hop the other day, not bad for a 64 year old! When Specialized and SRAM sort out my brake problem I can start riding properly.

    Fantastic advice. I've always used these techniques rolling down, but I suppose with the e-power, any incline is an option. Great video!

    Will take my Levo out for my first ride today. Certainly won´t try bunny hops or manuals with it for now. :-D But i will begin with practicing some of the lesser complex things shown. :-)

    You make it look so easy, I don’t unfortunately, I will practise.
    I cycle the Pentland hills near Edinburgh every day since I started mtb in September l’m 59 and ride a Scott e strike
    After dark is really exciting

    Chris great vid! Nice to be by the sea, must be hard on the bikes thought (salt air). There is no way you had 40psi in the rear. Does that lack of psi help on slow speed maneuvers like in the vid?

  • @nanahunt794

    Just built a manual machine, so hopefully will get better at that

  • @joestanding2370

    Do you need to run really low tyre pressure to start with? On the video yours looks almost flat under load?

    Hi, I am 52 years old, little experience with MTBs and I want to start in the world of emtb. What is your opinion of the trek rail 7? any other suggestions. Excellent channel !!!! keep up the good work

    • @mfren6253
      @mfren6253 Před 4 lety

      Franzo Marruffo ; You night have fun on a emtb. I think these little skills are important for us to practice or accomplish at our age. We need to know our way around a slightly heavier bike. Balancing, bunny hop, manual and nosing can be practiced in private. I ride the Trek rail 9.7 with less experience than you. If we practice enough we might overcome the fear-factor and the fear of failing. Just protect those brittle bones and know our limitations. With each ride my confidence slightly increases.

    I tried a thousand times to do a manual with my scott e-genius but it's definitely impossible 😞

  • @timmccann7115

    How low is the pressure on your rear tyre? When you load it, it almost flattens to the rim.

  • @AdminTechnopedia
    @AdminTechnopedia Před 2 lety

    3:44 Is that "specialized" frame just bend and make the rear tire turning right and make front tire heading left ?

    • @AdminTechnopedia
      @AdminTechnopedia Před 2 lety

      ouuuch,, after replying about hundreds time, than i see that rim spoke just flexing.
      is that normal with every mountain bike ?
