This recipe is awesome! Tasted just like subway cookies, it is chocolatey, gooey, and crispy on the outside!
    Some sharing from my experience:
    - I make around 30g per cookie (cuz I'm a consistency maniac!) One recipe is able to make around 28-30 cookies. The size is slightly smaller than Subway's. But it is the perfect size to me!
    - The spread of cookie depends on what chocolate you use. Cookie spread a lot for chocolate that melts (and does not holds it's shape) under high temperature.
    - I use 180℃ for 20mins, bcuz my oven is provrn to be less powerful. This is the perfect timing for my oven, you might want to adjust accordingly!
    - some people mentioned to chill before baking. I did that for my second batch (as my oven is small) chilled for 1 hour. It doesn't seems to be making a difference to me :P
    - this recipe makes very chocolatey cookies, if you want less chocolatey ones, or just simply worrying that chocolate makes you 'heaty' (yes I'm Chinese!), you might want to reduce the amount of chocolate

I made these and its so fudgy and chewy (which is what I want). I used 100% brown sugar so its more moist. The second batch I did, i tried turning on the oven fan and it made my cookies a little harder 😂 So definitely don't do that. Btw the vid says 1 tsp baking soda and the description says 1/2 tsp. I followed the recipe in the description ✅. But my cookies didn't flatten as much as in the vid but still, its good and THICC. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE!! ❤️❤️

You forgot that the dough needs to be put in the fridge for a hour at least... Which is why yours spread so much during cooking.

The dough on the cookie sheet looks thinner than what was in the bowl. Bowl batter very stiff and wouldn't spread as much.

Normal eating chocolate, because the cookies don’t have a long baking time and the mixture is quite wet, the chocolate doesn’t burn

The brown sugar plays a big role on this recipe. It makes the cookie chewy and changes the taste as well. Wouldn't recommend doing it without.

Mih instead of brown sugar u can add around 1-2 tablespoon of cornflour or arrowroot but brown sugar definitely gives it that extra chewy and delicious taste
