True. I look at it as the tension between The Soul and The Ego. The Soul always leads you to where you need to be, while Ego is focused on personal gratification. The Soul sees the bigger picture. The Soul is life itself playing through you, as you. It is good to differentiate between those two when you desire something, to sit down and write about it.

Saw Jordan on his We Who Wrestle With God tour. Safe to say that it changed my life. The discussion revolved around the theme of ‘Sacrifice’ and how we need to do that in order to achieve meaning and purpose. He also mentioned that to ‘sin’ essentially means ‘to miss the mark’ which I have never heard anyone explain it like that before. Jordan, if you ever read this, I want to say thank you for your words. Needed to hear them more than ever at this current moment in my life.

Most people that are lost want to be lost. They like what they do. People that want to quit smoking quit. They quit buying them. The ones that dont make provisions to fail. Then through their hands up and say i cant do it. Or its someone else's fault. Just say i like to smoke. Read romans 2:11-16
Pretty speculative and random. I was "lost" for years and I definitely wasn't enjoying it. As far as smoking goes, the ppl I know that quit struggled for years, quitting then starting again before finally succeeding.

Proper evolution of yourself through life difficulties is the first real purpose. Hapiness is the outcome of dooing the right things on the way to becoming a better version of you. Offering that better version of yourself to others without asking anything in return is the second purpose. See what happens after you start dooing that every day. I don’t think you’ll ever feel lost again my friends.

I don't believe in God, but I carry myself via good morals and principals. They have guided me well enough to bring up two boys who carry them same beliefs. So religion has nothing to do with it. Religion is the oldest cult and is a form of brainwashing and control for the masses. By saying live this way and you will be rewarded with this carrot(heaven or whatever) or live this way and you will go to hell. Its all about control in one way or another. I control myself, i am accountable to myself and only I judge myself.
People will find faith at their lowest point, this point is the crossings on whether you want or need to have faith or just say "fck it" and have it your way. If you truly have relationship with God and have faith in Him, you shouldn't make this kind of comment as it doesn't help those who are at the lowest right now, saying something like this is like showing you have water to someone who is dying out of thirst. Go out there help them out, start with your closest around you, share that love you get from God, share the Lord wisdom, not just point them out they have problem.
the fact that my 1st comment was deleted while having nothing offensive or discrimination in it proves the point. Religion is a form of control, one of the oldest actually( behave this way and you will go heaven if not your going down/h*ll instead) its manipulation and some people do extreme things to protect it. How you carry yourself is what matters. I am happy because I have morals, i have principles, and I have empathy. I and I alone will judge my actions, and i will carry the burden of guilt if I do wrong. I have faith in the fact that i am accountable to myself, I control my destiny, and I create my own environment and luck. Why are there so many religions? Because people have seen how successful the first one was at forwarding their agenda and control and have copied the blueprint. You believe what you want, and I get it gives some people hope, but don't judge other people who don't follow your beliefs. In the end, we all go back to where we began just simple atoms.
