In retrospect we completely agree, Glenn. Had we known we likely would've been boondocking instead of camping in Payson, but the RV park provided a nice natural environment that was a worthy alternative.
Looks like episode was videoed a few weeks ago when sky’s were clear & Payson was HOT. On top of the rim was perfect then, but now is cold (end of Sep). I had to come down below the rim this past week as nighttime temps in Woods Canyon Lake area dipped into the 30’s, with cool fog in the mornings. So you went from free dispersed to a $$$ shoulder-to-shoulder in Payson? What about the NF campgrounds? After Labor Day most were empty midweek and this year they had a good percentage that were non-reserved for walk-in’s. Spur roads off 260 to Bear Canyon and Knoll are ROUGH, so your viewers need to be prepared for that next year. Lastly, lots of dispersed posted off limits this year due to logging operations designed to thin forest out and prevent Calif style fires. Love your drone shots. Kept looking for my rig!
It was warm but not hot, and you're right -- we were there a few weeks ago (we always put the filming dates in the video description, so that folks can reference the time of year). The temps during your visit sound wonderful. Had we known better we definitely would've come in on 260 instead of 87. The problem is it was Sunday afternoon and once we realized our ideal spot was now off limits, we were running out of daylight. Having to work starting 8 a.m. Monday morning, we gave up in frustration and headed to Payson. We would not have had enough daylight to get to the camping areas off 260, and having not yet been there ourselves we had no idea how successful we'd be in the dark. So it was an easy decision. Not particularly what we wanted, but it worked out well.

What type of editing program do you use? Great content 👌.
Thanks @TravelRN910! We use Cyberlink Power Director, and have for many years. We like their pricing structure far better than Adobe's. In fact everything we use and like is in our Amazon shop, including Power Director www.amazon.com/shop/GrandAdventure . We only list there things that we use and recommend ourselves in our video production and RV travel.
(Disclosure: items in our Amazon shop earn the channel a small commission. It doesn't cost any more to shop Amazon via our store, but it helps to support the channel.)

That's another great analysis, Khatoon! Thanks as always, and best wishes to you and your family.
At 00:50 second mark. Where is that located? Thanks!
That's Forsyth Reservoir, near Loa, Utah.
I always call "Mongolian" rim. Beautiful area but I hear it gets quite windy sometimes.
Indeed it is beautiful. It may get windy, too, but during our week we only ever encountered a moderate breeze.
I love the High country but that park has terrible reviews. Just about every one says it's a dust bowl and the spots are very tight. Not much good to say about the management either and absolutely no cancellations even if you have a medical reason.
Appreciate your feedback; however, we have nothing but good things to say about our stay. People's experiences may vary anywhere but we enjoyed ourselves and have no complaints.
People who trash our public lands need to be taken out behind the wood shed and given an education.
I stopped watching your channel because you use way too much drone footage for my taste. Combined with the music it just gets boring. I'd like more commentary on what you are actually doing.
Fair enough, thanks for your feedback.
@@GrandAdventure I love the drone footage. I'm not sure why people need to be negative in comments. Just don't watch if you don't like it. 🤷♂️
Agreed! Marc, I enjoy the photography! If I can’t be there, at least I can see the beauty in you photography!
