Incredible, now this is the kind of robotic innovation I have been waiting for! Fluid motions with almost no hesitation. This is why I want to make this stuff!
I now know why it showed up in the algorithm: CZcams is recommending that more of us begin working in the field of robotics. It is time, CZcams. Let Us Go build robots
And CZcams algorithm have struck in 2019-10-12
Thiesen the robots want us to know theyre here lol
Totally amazing. 80 percent catch rate! I would have liked to see some of the "misses".
*Yep, CZcams algorithm is doing it's thing again...*
HAHAHA. I was going to say, "but can it brew me a cup of coffee?" I was pleasantly surprised.
Unreal dudes. Congrats to the team behind this.
very cool. and also...who would dislike this? I still don't get why people do that for a great video like this
Sign him up for right field!! But, seriously, this must mean that they have solved the problem of 3 dimensional "vision". I remember one of these videos saying that even though robots can recognize faces, they could not see in 3 dimensions, which is necessary for depth perception and I would say also necessary to be able to catch those balls like that.
I'm speechless! It is beyond amazing!
Imagine what they have now
They have robots that can run and do parkour now
Find out in 10 years when youtube recommends it.
joshua lotion no they dont, boston dynamics has that. Im talking about this specific guys
A slightly more aesthetically pleasing than Johnny 5
I dont know. I thought johnny 5 was a sexy beast. This robot looks sterile.
It's strangely beautiful the way it makes coffee... Soothing... Like a song... And now I want coffee.
it catches the ball like it knows the future 😱
Happy Birthday Pauly!!
Pretty amazing work. Much more advanced than toy robots like Honda's Asimo.
First it can catch things, then it can make coffee, then it can love, then it can murder.
The circle of robotic life.
amazing!
Now make one that can juggle 7 balls!
O=D
some really good stuff here
you guys need to take a blow, the whole team need to be working for NASA or something like it. that's a beautiful and magnificent piece of engineer.
Very very cool. I wish I was witty and had something new to say but I'll leave you with this, "Please put down your weapon. You have 20 seconds to comply. You have 15 seconds to comply."
Its actions are so satisfactory to watch
now this is what i'm talking about finally robots that actually serve
I want to hug justin
When I was young this was a idea,a dream, something of dreams...........seems the dream is now real......excellent to see....................Wryter
best Goal Keeper ever
First step, catch balls and make coffee.
And then, THE WORLD!
That is amazing!
This is awesome! =D
Wow.. very nice..
reminds me of a "Series 1 Terminator" ...the one fitted with tank-like treads from the 3rd movie - Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines..
Kinda Scary how the technology is progressing..
beautiful
I really want to see them put this technology in Atlas.
Fuldstændig fantastisk!!!
Incredible Fantastic!!!
This is what Jeter looks like underneath his cyborg exterior.
interesting video and very informative
I think its amazing that our brains do this, and we dont even know we are doing it.
It's funny, Ive made so many searches for robotics and for some reason this was always tucked away amidst the plethora of clicky baity videos. Then when google decides its time, we can see it???
it is so amazing!
What the hell... I thought we weren't this good with robots yet :O
Amazing simply amazing.
Awesome.
Rollin Justin, do you want to play frisbee with me? I'm game. No foolin'
Today they're catching baseballs. Tomorrow they're catching HUMAN SKULLS!
It's great!
AMAZING ENGINEER!
I for one welcome our new robotic masters.
We are getting there.. slowly.
I, for one, welcome our new ball-catching robotic overlords.
might be a good idea to bring this guy in late in a game as a defensive upgrade for canseco.
back to the future much ? youtube algorithm
@marcaaron28 I remember a game back in the Super Nintendo days called Super Baseball 2020 with robots, seems like things are getting pretty close.
Provided they can be sure that the resulting shower of irradiated rock across a large area has a low enough concentration of radiation to be non-harmful. If not, shooting it could be nearly as bad as just taking the hit. I'd go on and say the concentration is likely to be considered well within boundaries, even if they used one of more toxic a-bombs (which I wouldn't see much point in doing - I'd use a lower half-life one just to be safe), but I don't really know for certain.
The coffee machine looks like Justin's child.
"I want one dad! Now! " I already here it
Is the machine think or running clever pattern programs?
How does it handle a fastball?
Always comments about how CZcams algorithm is at work... Wait
Today catching balls! Tomorrow catching the world!
- Robot (probably)
maravilloso
so what there saying is that i can almost play catch with a robot, now they just need to program it to throw it back. still very impressive technology
nice!!! ☺
It can use in cricket for wicket keeper
nice
What type of Education should I apply for to develop these technologies? I know there are several areas involved, like programming and mechanical electronics, but could anyone give me some good suggestions?
finaly a cofee machine!
A Skynet já deve estar quase pronta, olha só o que esse robô já pode fazer.
Justin cool.
cool!
Which type of Motors used to Built arms ?? Can any one share please
But can it move to its right and handle a low fast one in the dirt?
MALUCO que robô da hora véi to impressionado...
Now, JUGGLING!
A dozen please!
wow
Its the robot from Rockie 5!
We need to make a flying version of this and equip it with weapons of destruction.
it would be if you throw the ball when he has his hands busy?
Robot spousal abuse.
Where the hell is my coffee?!
@Maplesyrup41 We are still the overlords... Who do you think he's fetching a coffee to? :)
@danielsmedegaardbuus thanks :D
Does it blend?
The secret plan is to use this as a keeper in the German goal for the next World Soccer Championship, I just know it! ;-D
To my new robot: GET BACK TO TEH KITCHEN!
you could put a table tennis or tennis ball launching robot on the other end instead of a human and then you have a completely automated passing system
but will it blend?
awesome! like a human! can you use these things to make the world a better place?
Нашей сборной по футболу надо такого на ворота поставить! хотя бы проигрывать перестанут(((
Catching balls is yesterday. Today, good robot must catch eggs In the same way.
@carnut666 Wheres my jet pack? This is amazing, I wish I could design, develop, program... such great machines
Two words: Robot butler.
Cool and somewhat scary
Going after that US baseball 💰
No hace malabares?
scary
Who doesn't want a coffee bot?
I can't wait till we have real life base wars (nes game)
Is this Two Minute Papers?
Hmm good recommendation
Dad!!! Can I go outside and play catch with the robot?
But Will It Blend?
