- Well, hello there and welcome to today's epic shopping adventure!
Richard and I hit up Waynesville Ohio! It was once billed as the Midwest's largest antique store town! However, times have changed and there are not as many stores as there once was! However, we still make the very best of it, and there are still some really great stores!
I decided to take you all along on the entire journey!
I hope you enjoy today's shopping adventure!

I love the $40. vase Richard bought. And the red swing vase was awesome. Michael, Richard is such a sweetie the way he goes to check on prices and such. You two bring me a lot of joy😊
I really like that vase too!
They are so lucky to have each other. I’m envious. Lol
Absolutely in love with the architecture and so many shops to visit.
My favorite find is RICHARD ....who else would be so kind as to hold your ice coffee so you can go in a shop ❤.
I just had the best time with you guys...ty for such a fun shopping day...❤
Gorgeous vase Richard bought! I was so happy he rescued hit. You could tell he loved it. Speaking of love…could Richard be any cuter when he looks at you in the intro! Just makes my heart happy. It’s so sad this beautiful town, and so many others, struggled during the pandemic. Kudos to you both for visiting and shopping there to help boost their economy. Lovely items you showed and purchased. So exciting to see all those beautiful things.
I don't mind bookstore cats or antique store cats, but the store should state that outside. I have a sign outside my house that says "Beware of the dog. The cat's a little weirdo, too."
I have allergies and carry meds with me cuz you never know but if you’re likely to have a reaction I take my allergy meds every day….you never know the person next to you may love cats, you could end up in a situation, please take care
MT”What is this “…. I was so excited because I knew 😊
What a charming little downtown area! I so enjoyed this outing with you two handsome gents❤️❤️

Thank you for taking me to Waynesville. My Sunday excursion!
Loved seeing. that green uranium glass two sisters urn.
I so enjoyed this shopping excursion! Thank you so much Michael and Richard, for taking us 🫶🏼
Such a great Main Street. I loved the vintage store. I was feeling the groove Richard came around the corner with that big red piece I thought was a bong at first. I snapped out of that fast realizing it’s swung vase. Think it was all that macramé. Lol….
I
What an adorable town!
OMG loved the pink swing vase. Lovely.
Oh my God I wish all your videos were an hour long. I absolutely loved the stores you went in and I really wish you would have bought that stretched swan and you would have bought that jack-in-the-pulpit. it was so beautiful. Amazing clientele that loves higher-end grass don't be afraid of it. I believe you will make your money back and then some and you will make your customers so happy with unique finds. My favorite purchase made was the large stretch that was gorgeous. oh my God that bittersweet. That one that was attached to the wooden base ,I would just put greenery around it make it a centerpiece on a table I hope somebody goes to rescue that cuz it was stunning ❤
Fun!❤
What a fantastic trip! I love this long video, just tagging along with your shopping and discovery adventures. This was fun!

You always bring us such a wonderful experience! I did love the Burmese piece with the mostly pink coloring and the roses. I am like you, that collection is usually not my favorite, but that piece was special. Thank you do much for the fun, gentleman! ❤
I got to look close-up at the original Aughra puppet used to film The Dark Crystal, at the World's Science Fiction Convention in Baltimore. (Kermit the Frog was there, too!)
Thanks I enjoyed it

Really enjoyed the walk through the town ya'll got some beautiful pieces love you guys
My Mothers house was a huge A frame with the living space upstairs one wall which led outside to a upper deck the whole wall was glass windows(with large sills) and those swung vases and many others like them of various colors lived there. Of course the windows faced east it was beautiful at sunrise. At the time art glass wasn't my thing ugh, we were military always moving so anything nice and glass for me was a no go as I barely kept dishes from getting broken.
Fantastic episode Gentlemen ❤❤👍
"I may not be talking every second ..but I think there's something to be SAID by that"🤣
Love when you whisper as I know you then found a great piece. Hello to Richard too
Love waynesville well also my home town lol
Thanks for letting us tag along. I am not a big glass collector but I really did like the clear glass with the gold design on it and I do love L.E. Smith Smoothies, so great buy on big red! Quaint little town. Richard is always a great helper. 🙂
So sad about your cat allergy. Can't imagine life without mine. Blessings.
Waynesville was always a high end Primitives town. It was a fun day trip but prices were always over top.
I haven’t been there in awhile, thanks for taking us with you. They have a HUGE Fall craft show that lines the Main Street from one end to town to the other and elbow to elbow people. It’s called the Sauerkraut Festival and a lot of the food venders sell sauerkraut food…..Even desserts. Happy you got the red floor vase. ❤❤ It was a great day at the Vintage Traveler talking to you and Richard and picking your brain. Thank you for explaining the new VAMP platform. Excited for you and Misty.
Sauerkraut....desert...😶
You and Richard are so lovely thank you for taking us with you Michael.ukxx
I wish we had a street with antique shops.
Nice and quiet to shop.
Thank you for sharing MT and Richard X
Richard’s vase was my favorite. The design isn’t too fussy.
Thanks for taking me along. I actually love the $40 vase that Richard purchased.
This ismy first time watching you guys. I'm not sure what episode I watched. It was a huge antique place white building with antique double doors. You bought a green butter dish and you said that is usually worn off. You found a bag of dolls the said kittles but they were Littles family then you found another group of dolls you wanted to buy the one with orange hair. I would love to get the address to where you were. I like the one in black and white dress. I loved your video
I love the furniture!!!!! Richard and I would be bffs!
Hi Michael & Richard. I've never heard of Waynesville. Thanks for taking us along.
Great Shopping!!! That Tall RED VASE is GRAND!
I understand your cat allergies and I am the same only with scents.
I love the frosted, hand-painted vase that Richard bought for $40. He has good taste. I would put a battery-operated votive/small candle in it.
Love your vase Richard.
And that trio looked grate together.
Loved the honeysuckle too
👌
As I said before you have to try the peanuts mixed with spice gum drops soo good
This was one of your best videos. I love it very much.
Glad that Richard got that Vase I loved it also the one that it was next to it you guys looked like you had fun looking for treasures! I wished I had stores like this over in California.
Just so u know, I like primitive stuff. lol
It was such a fun town! Nice to see dusted shelves!!
U missed a bright yellow hob nob dish with a lid candy dish. Never seen that color b4
Orange clove is my favorite!

Hey guys, come to Tarpon Springs Florida, get all the sponges that you’d like they dive right here for them, and they ship them all over the world
The purple is supposed to have a lid. I have red one but smaller
Waynesville is so fun. Haven’t been in a long time, sorry to hear some of the shops were closed. So sad! Waynesville has a sauerkraut festival, not sure when it is but if you love sauerkraut, guess that’s the place to be. You guys bought some nice things👍
❤ 🇨🇦 ❤️
I saw my first swung vase in person and they were so pretty!
Waynesville is also the most haunted town in the U.S. ! I have went on two ghost tours - they were fabulous!
Wonder twin in action!
We feel you with the cats. One sister is super allergic.
I think I would have taken the doll trunk for 47
I agree.
Me, too. It was absolutely adorable!

I love creaky floors.
You should get that rasberry swan MT somebody will pay up for that❤ 🌴

Do you take note of this concern about green books containing arsenic? SEEMS over blown. Thanks again for your posts, always of interest.
Diggn Richard
Halloween pez dispensers wow
Hi Michael I was watching VAMP and couldn’t type in the chat section
An elongated adventure through Mayberry..cute place. Can relate to feline phobia. I have one of those large orange vases..I just need to find it!! It's so interesting to think where all these things came from. Oh. The devastation of it all. 🤣🤣
He doesn't have a phobia, he has an allergy
@@bethb7965 I understand that Beth..it was a play on words..
I have 69 pcs of the yellow Dancing Girl depression glass. Need the butter dish, milk pitcher and S & P shakers. It has water goblets, champagne glasses, tea glasses and several other types of glasses and stemware. Would love to know how much they r all worth. My husband bought it around 1989 for $400.00 for the whole set.
I ask you! Where are these people finding this stuff to sell?? They have to be getting it at low prices and charging upwards!
I feel your pain about cats. I am very allergic to them. Makes for a very difficult shoping experience. Why can't they leave the cat at home?!
