Hey Kyle, your video popped up on my recommended and i was surprised to see it, because i haven't heard from you ever since i watched TheGameDept on twitch. Your personality shined through those friday jackbox streams.
If you primarily love making content, the best piece of advice i can give you is to start making content around yourself and your personality. That way you won't have to limit yourself and you'll be able to do whatever you put your mind to. I feel like the channel names also limit you in some way, whether that be thegamedept or south street media, because you are not only a gaming channel nor you are only a car channel, you are you.
This video was extremely honest and i'm glad i ran into it. Keep doing you and doing what inspires you, there are no limits to what that will be.
I've enjoyed watching your content regardless of the category cos you always come across as yourself

I can relate to this so much. The drive to make things and learn how to improve at making them to express your creativity can end up pushing you in different directions. Getting into making the same kind of thing all the time can feel like it's locking out the creativity.
As I'm writing this I'm reminded of a photography lesson I had and heard repeated in other creative lessons, we can work our creative muscles more when there are restrictions placed on us. I'm not sure how this relates but it feels like it does. I'm just not sure exactly how.
I do think you should follow your heart and work on projects you want to work on.

As a creator i can relate … this happens to all of us .. i „quit“ over 10 times now 😂 as long as you stay true to yourself and do what makes you happy … drive the lancer and forget about the world !

Just do what makes you happy, if it is just something you feel like creating and posting it to the world just do it randomly.

Well one thing that you have done is "selling the sim-racing rig" for the people that don't know. But i must say, this is only a speed bump on the road that will come back around, and you will find the motivation and sight on what you really want this channel to be, but in all honesty just enjoy what you feel is right, people will follow along
if im honest if you ever come back to making content of any kind, i can say myself as well as a bunch of other people will be here for when you do
Kyle, I haven't watched your content since you made the south street media switch. I personally have a big distaste for car related stuff, so that drove me away. But your a cracking dude. A genuine good kind hearted soul, and I feel that whatever you make will meet most peoples satisfaction no matter. AND your lack of one specific direction is a GIFT not a drawback. Because you can attract all sorts of people from every conceivable audience, including myself.
Personally I'd like a mixture of the old Game dept content be brought back with some more multiplayer focus as well as the text stuff. But that's just my two cents. Your a fucking ripper, and whatever you do after your break and next preconceived notion is going to be top tier no matter what!
