For those who want to install EVERYTHING (including legacy libraries that aren't part of CC+ if you're lucky enough to have them), a 4TB external SSD at USB 3/3.1 speeds is more than enough for OPUS. Thunderbolt 3 speeds are ideal though. I have two 4TB MX500s in RAID 0 in an OWC enclosure and they've been serving me well for all music production-related businesses.
I have the CCC Pro Diamond Editions for woodwind, string, brass and percussion from years ago. I just received the Opus libraries on the hard drive. To where do I drag and drop the Opus Libraries? Should I drag them to their corresponding section folders: Opus brass to overwrite Diamond Brass, etc? Or, should I place the Opus folders in the same general folder next to the old Diamond libraries?
I installed the 1 month free trial to test, and everytime i try installing a hollywood orchestra library it does not install everything for some reason. It didn't happened with forbidden planet nor the hollywood fantasy libraries, only the orchestra opus edition.. I keep trying to reinstall it but it still doesnt download every instrument (and i still have plenty of free space, so I don't know why this happens)
Hi, i have to reinstall Woodwinds opus edition (and perhaps percussion) because in Orchestrator, when i load a preset (f.e. Elves 04), it says missing samples. I tried many times to give the directory folder, but it doesn't run. So......when i reinstall the entire library Woodwinds Opus, do i install in the same folder of the Hollywood Orchestral Woodwinds?
Hello Ryan, thank you very very much for all your videos ! I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask, but could you please help me (us?) with a tutorial about how to use the different microphones. I only use two at best and I know it's a shame considering the effort EW sound engineers have made to give us four (sometimes five !) recordings. Best !

I have libraries on my internal HD and would like to move them to the EW external HD I bought. Any advice on how to do that?

Look for an e-mail from our head of support - This is a bit more complex and may require some troubleshooting
How do I install the full Forbidden Planet content?
You can download the full libraries within the EW Installation Center

How to use software music
Any way to get Opus other than buying Hollywood Orchestra or subbing to Composercloud+?
You can also get Opus when you buy any EastWest product
