I chose to go into a blue collar industry where I could make $100,000 in 5 years without wasting money on a degree. The founding fathers did not trust a one person one vote as they feared the "Tyranny of the majority" and "tyrannical factions" that might enter the electoral process. The USA was never intended to be a pure Democracy, The USA is a representative "Republic" and the "electoral college" acts as a buffer between a democracy and a republic.

Some people do not understand what "United States" means. We have 51 separate elections in each of our states and Washington D.C. We do not have a national election. Each state is semi-sovereign because they began as separate colonies, territories, or even nations and demanded to retain some of their independence before joining the country. Hillary did not win more votes than Trump in very many of these state elections, the only elections that matter in this regard.

Around 11:30 is an interesting contrast between the USA and the UK's ways of talking about race/ethnicity and religion. The reporter said that Trump makes "racially" divisive comments, then went to a clip having to do with Muslim (not a race) immigration--then, gave statistics about voting among American blacks! Totally different categories in the US, but in the UK they call even light-skinned Arabs "black," and regularly confuse Muslims with being a race. It just goes to show that media sources have all sorts of ways of framing things that may have little to do with facts on the ground, and we all need to be vigilant about reports from "experts" in the media.

This is the most biased documentary I've seen in a while.
This is a Brit show and the Brits - our ally who gives us not very much - don't like Trump.
