Formally trained models "don't open their legs at the end."
If his training is base on the Pivot Four/Dior technique, legs are closed and tight together.
Evangelista world famous model was a trained model.
Big difference between trained and untrained models!
Also depends on what you are wear, and what the fashion designer/coordinator instructs the models.

The open legs, speed walk and hand moves really depends on what clothing or brand are you modeling. Not every fashion show is the same. There is not just one way to do it right. This video I believe are basics.
Well, since I saw few comments about runway walks, I'll give some opinion, I was an active fashion model on the runway, and few campaign for 10 years, it depends on the designer, what they want to show, for example what are you modelling for? If it's a dress, what do they want to show on the dress, show the design of of the material like chiffon silk perhaps and always remember your profile, how fast? how slow? Etc...from the start he's teaching the basic WOMEN catwalk, while walking that was absolutely right, but you can choose...what he showed is one feet infront of the other not necessarily crossing the feet, so you can if you want, actually for basic you only cross your legs at the end of the platform/runway like what he did in 0:19, But at 0:21 or 0:26 for me it's a big no no, that's sooooo pageantry unless the dress is tight... and male models are very easy, the basic is just focus in front, walk side by side as normal, then walk 2 steps behind and turn back, for pose if the runway is like in the video, You need to give a little time for the photographer to shoot, the right way to pose at the end of the runway is to open your legs not close together like pageantry...high fashion no smiling, but open your lips a bit as if you're taking a breath and turn back...never use your shoulder as you walk...hands just let them sway, posture straight, always be human don't look like a robot when you walk...🥰 to those who wants to be a fashion model and no scout is approaching you, you can always go any agency, TRUSTED agency, remember if they ask you for money for whatever reason, I don't think it's legit, women at least 5"9 height or the least 5"8 without heels, men at least 6 feet or 6"1...make sure you know your angle, pay a photographer to get your headshot, and portfolio keep it, you'll get turn down often but that's normal, keep on going if you want to be one...NEVER LET ANYBODY take advantage over you! Men and women, regardless if they say that person or this person is the person who can get you jobs, fine socialise with that person, but if they want to see you one on one, bring someone or better reject, coz there's a lot of cases of rape, usually the models are very very young...sometimes it's easy to manipulate them....

Indeed cause pageant walk and poses are more exaggerated than modelling atleast that's what I notice.
Catwalk should always with a sway. Catwalk means cross legs may slightly zigzag. Correct always the posture and hand in an oblique position since catwalk. In runway modelling not necessarily to stop and posts.

Pointers:
Learn to control your hand movement and don't frequently put it on the waist. There's no need to make a tip toe. Basically its all sashay shantay type of walk and a relaxed controlled pose in every pause. You have to give a fierce editorial look and it's all about attitude. "You should replace your coach"
The coach is doing great, he’s correcting each one of them. And they’re students, not professionals, they are literally there to learn and gain confidence.
No, be confident, DON'T look down, shoulders back and slightly up and make hands sway naturally and don't make too many poses just one pose when you reach the edge and just a smooth turn!
In my opinion, the first girl was the best. She walked confidently and exactly repeated all the trainer’s actions.
First Lady and the third lady was best.. And I just love there master, it's awesome 😇

Make sure your hair is clean and dry, your face has no products on, always be waxed or shaved, exfoliate the night before, moisturise your face and body in the morning, whiten teeth, make sure your lips are not dry or cracked. And of course bring your model bag..... If u go complete fashion model.. you have to wear Short skirt young models in us Wear Red colour MicrobikEne and little Panteeeeeiii..to look gorgeous.

Yup just waiting for just 1 female to show me attitude. The male teacher did well. If i were tall enough i would have been in the industry. Use to practice on small ramps and our agency always screamed be strong and confident. Show me who you are based on what you are in.

Hi, you can be a talent...in TVC...etc etc, if you go or approached by random scouts and they ask you for money to create your portfolio, mostly they are not legit, know your angle, know your best features on your face, you might end up doing TVC. Mostly the highest pay is skincare, hair...take care of them, and remember whatever character they give you. Just do it! Don't be shy...think about the money. If an agent, male especially wants to meet you one on one, always bring a friend, never drink whatever he order for you, you choose...if you are not tall but nice legs, send that picture...headshot again what's your best features...good luck

When I attend/watch local fashion shows here in the Philippines one thing i always notice is that models forget its a FASHION SHOW NOT A PAGEANT, more walking, less posing!
