I loved the idea of the progress bar as it added the connection without a bunch of "gawdy" text all over the screen. To be clear for me it was pretty obvious at the start that this Commercial that it was about the speed of the rendering with the Logo and Text on the car from Blendergrid. However, thinking of someone catching just a portion (say the last half of the Commercial) the progress bar just nails the point home and it's not so big that it takes over the animation (like a meal that has 1 spice that is overpowering and takes away from the rest of the palate). I would maybe have put the captions on buildings as shop signs or billboards. So they are not in your face but there if your paying attention

How did you go about the character animation? was it done in CC or in blender? Great tutorials we learn new stuffs from you each day. If you have time you could touch on character animation and composing in blender?
This animation was done using Mixamo I think. Although I do use CC too on occation!

Rendering! We all know that dilema. I saved some cash and bought a refurbished HP Z820, dual-Xeons, 128G, lotsa ponies, man. And, it still isn't able to render 4k without waiting an eternity. Everything is 4k these days, isn't it?
Anywho...I have never used a render farm service before, either. I did look into Sheepit but could never get it to work.
Blendergrid seems reasonably priced considering the time saved, as well as the wear and tear on my rig.
I'll have to give them a try when I get something worth actually spending $$$ on. ;P Great lesson, Leo.

Waiting to see if that 4080 arrives at a reasonable price!! Yes - Blendergrid has been really easy for me to use, and with a free $20 credit, there's literally nothing to lose! Give it a go!
@@MediaWayUKLtd LOL! Heard that about the 4k! I do have a decent rig now but I didn't have the duckets to upgrade the Quadro card to a decent ray-tracer, so, like you...I can't wait for the new 4080. I feel like the poor kid watching all the other kids enjoying their ray-tracing and Optix denoising...cool AI-driven photogrammetry tools...LMAO!!! Soon enough...maybe I'll be on the Nice list this year, huh, Santa?

Hi, I learned a lot of by your videos. These lessons are really good. Thank you for doing such a great job. I need some help regarding machine. Could you please suggest which Laptop would he best for fast render animation? With my current machine, it took about 5 hours to render 60 frames. That is too much. So please let me know which machine/laptop would be great? It would be great help. Thanks.
Hi Zohab! It's hard for me to advise on a specific machine. You basically need something with an RTX graphics card. Anything from a 3060 up would be a big help!

Hi Manos! Been in 3d about 3 years now. But done lots of other stuff before - video, filming, photography, graphic design, animation - so I guess I have quite a bit of experience in related industries. Hope you enjoyed the video!
could you make a jet shooting missile tutorial. i have spent hours trying on myself. everything was going well until i tried making the missiles shoot out and hit a certain spot. i would love some help.
