very disappointing, I feel it would have been cool to add a piece of the scrap to their merch order's, "Not charge for it". This was a great opportunity for them to have a "free giveaway". Cleetus and a few other channels have done similar things however have added more to the purchase to add real value. I hope the guys read the comments and make a change.

Remember all the things that the fans used to send you for free and you would do unboxings showing us what you got? Now you're charging those same fans 100 bucks for a piece of scrap metal. And when you had your first run of the 100 pieces you originally listed them for $100 and then changed the price to $150 when you noticed they started to sell fast.

I get what ur saying, however if you look at the price of the parts they chopped up. The time it took to do it. Then the shipping etc. Its artwork, its unique, an this isn't something that will always be 4 sale. I think if they're all sold out then it speaks volumes.

When I originally saw you guys cutting these up a few videos ago, I figured you’d throw them in random merch orders. That would be fan service. When I saw that you’re instead selling them for $100 my jaw dropped. It’s honestly sad. Sad that you guys would rip your fans off like that and sad that people would be dumb enough to pay for this obvious money grab.
The icing on the cake in this video is you guys saying that you want to “clean up the neighborhood” and then you just kick the nails into the ditch and leave the massive pile of trash. Unbelievable. How about you guys make a video of cleaning all that crap up? You have the equipment to easily do it and you would not only earn money from the views but earn a lot of respect from the community. Love these guys and their channel, but constantly hard selling the Dang Sauce (which I’ve bought and is great) and now a whole video devoted to selling $100 Porsche pieces. I agree that I’m loosing some enthusiasm for the direction they’re heading. 😔

Whistlin diesel literally shredded a truck, put it in jars and sold it for $150 and sold out of them. @@seven4896 you’re absolutely right.. but I think they’re receiving this much backlash because (in my opinion) they’ve kinda steered away from what got a lot of us to subscribe and become fans of the channel. I’ve been a long time fan and have notice the most recent videos have been of them pushing their products religiously in every video. There’s nothing wrong with that by all means you gotta advertise your product to make money but when you’re making entire videos revolving around you simply making money I doesn’t sit right with me and I’m sure some of the “og” fans feel the same way.

I’m with a lot of people here in the feeling that this is the beginning of you boys losing touch. No one can dispute the insane amount of work you put into your channel to build your following. No one can dispute that you both (and the family) deserve the all the stuff that has come along. When you cut up the first fender, I’ll admit, I went to see how much they were. My jaw dropped when they were listed at $150! It made me kinda sick. My thought was “that’s super steep for the average joe who have been watching you from the beginning.” With 2.5 million followers, sure, you’ll have some that can afford to pay 10 times that but they are not the ones who were here at the beginning. I can’t fault you for trying to progress and make something out of nothing but, boys, don’t forget the brothers and sisters that helped make you what you are. I’ve always applauded you two “regular guys” makin’ it. I feel we’re watching the regular guys slowly evolve into hustlers and it sucks. Off camera you two must be absolutely laughing at all the suckers paying it out.

Even though I like and admire these Guys and I have only had positive comments in the past even though recently I haven't been as impressed as I once was. However I think this is the first video that has not had any positive feedback! I have read maybe 100 comments and all of them not so positive!

Yah sadly i seen this coming when I seen that the 94 or so pieces they had last time sold out at 175$ each within 3 days? or so. I was like welp we're gonna get a whole video of them cutting up the entire car at this point.
Well, most people didn't get to see the price of that first batch because it somehow sold out superfast, i didn't knew they sold them for 175$ until a few hours ago 😂 Hate to say it but the boys over here got really greedy and now this is probably their most disliked video ever.

As a loyal fan for a long time, I fear you both have turned to the "dark side". I truly feel that most of us are not interested in watching you guys cut up Porsche fenders to sell for a huge profit. You two have become a great commercial success by working morning until night building things (cars, boats, trucks, homes, etc.) and not trying to add to that success with hot sauce and bits of a Porsche! It makes me sad to see this change unfold before my eyes. If this is your future, count me out.

When they both got married it all changed...same ol story...
Don't get me wrong I really like Goonzquad & selling bits of the Porsche well that's just merchandising what you have to sell and we can buy it or not as we choose. However I have been here since the Jeep days and for example back when they were building the Mustang every episode had great content. So even though I am a loyal fan of Goonzquad they should not short change the productive content of the channel. I do think one of the reasons they are at 2.47 million subscribers instead of 3 or 4 million is because there is less cool content on the channel than there used to be! It seems like a year or so ago they were at something like 2.35 million subcribers and now only 2.47 millions subscribers. I do think if less emphasis was put on the commercial side & more rebuilding content or even house building content they would of grown their subscriber base more than they have. While that is hard to know in exact numbers I do think I am close to the truth on that part. However what they are doing might be more financially rewarding than increasing the subscribership because us loyal fans aren't going to bail we just wish there was more real content. In fact with the new shop I was originally thinking content should really improve even beyond the old days but that really hasn't happened. Well that's my two cents and no disrespect to the boys meant because they are smart & know where their money is coming from. So I am sure they have done the math on what is working best for them!

The massive amount of respect I have for you guys took a hit while watching this video. You have definitely shown that you believe in the old saying that "there is a sucker born every minute" and that your fans are stupid enough to make you $100,000 richer for a couple of days work in addition to the YT money made from us watching you do it.
IMO you have missed a tremendous opportunity by not turning this into a charity fundraiser. This video would have been worthwhile watching, and these pieces of signed metal and plastic worthwhile buying knowing the money was being donated to a charitable cause (Ukraine related perhaps?) instead of it being a quick money making scheme.
I can only hope now that there aren't enough suckers out there, which will make all the work you put into this a waste of time, much like this video was for me, and they will collect dust on your shelf instead of the shelves of those foolish enough to buy them.

I think at this point you guys need to stop take a breath and reflect on what made you come to this point and what your core values are. You need to scale back on this commercial stuff and make it more subtle. Give away a few things for free which I believe you have never done. Give back to the community a little more. Clean up the neighborhood. Do a open house day and bring in young kids to inspire them. Do. fundraiser for Ukraine. You guys are young and it is easy to be dragged down the wrong path in this social media economy. Watched all your videos immediately so far but This video was a disappointing one. I felt like I lost a friend.

I'm surprised how many others feel the same as I do about the selling of scrap pieces of the Porsche. $175 bucks for autographed piece of scrap metal you were going to have to recycle anyway? I mean, if the threw it in with every order of Dang Sauce for example, that I could see. But I feel the content has been diminishing and the pushing of the Dang Sauce is getting to be bit much as well. Spend 10 to 15 seconds if you want to let people know its back in stock, then get to working on a car. Im spending less time watching them now because I feel the content just isn't there anymore.

I'm so disappointed in what they are doing. They are barely working on the car the way they used to do. They basically spent the entire video showing them cutting pieces of the car that they will then sell to make more money. I feel like at this point they are more after money than anything else
I hope the boys read the $hstorm and draw the right conclusions.

I’ve been watching since the early Jeep builds and if this video isn’t the “jumping the shark” for this channel then nothing is. An entire video dedicated to making $100 K off their fans instead of giving back and saying thank you to all the people who buy merch from them. How nice would it have been to receive a piece with a hat or t-shirt purchase. I’ve purchased a shirt from them and dang sauce but that’s it for me, I’m glad to see the fans speaking up
I’m a roofer, my advice would be to buy a roofing magnet. It’s a powerful magnet on wheels approximately $100. Will clean those nails up in one pass. It’s also handy to have in the shop for any metal shards to avoid flats in the garage!

Been a fan since your first video. Subscribed immediately, for three main reasons
1. You both were just as humble as I am. Never boastful or stuck up.
2. Family based and oriented. Always kept your family close.
3. Christians. Always giving thanks to God and to this day I cannot recall you ever cursing or using vulgarity of any kind in your videos.

Typically what I see from other CZcamsrs, they'll throw in something from their project when you order something off their website. For example, buy a t-shirt, get a complimentary piece of the Porsche. That easy. Don't be selling scrap metal for $100 a piece!

I agree and I really want them to do car builds, but after a 100K boat purchase, a new house build, new shop build and all the promoting of their sauce, I am beginning to see that their focus has moved away from what made them successful and has now moved on to what their life has turned into since they became successful on YT. This episode should have been more about removing the panel and a lot less of prepping "art work" for resale. The channel is starting to sour and I believe the only reason why they keep throwing up poor content is due to the amount they make off of ad views...hence why they keep using the cheesy clickbait thumbnails on their videos! This sounds harsh, but in reality, I have enjoyed this channel, just not the content as of recent and after reading the comments its not just me that is concerned.

Today, I looked to see if I was the only one seeing how off course these latest vids are and see many fans agree its definitely not about giving back to the channel rather in very many comments.. seeing $100 scrap pieces & encouraging your fans to tell their friends that they bought a Porshe is so hollow that it doesn't ring true. I hope you read the spirit behind this viewpoint as being simply constructive.
The charity cause would have been slightly better or simply adding to orders n/c would be giving back but the content of the latest few videos comes across as watching your infomercials as some builds gather dust.
Suggestion is to take ownership of it, admit whoring of merchandise was an isolated wrong chapter but not who you're striving to be.
You both are truly talented and I sincerely hope this is helpful to you.
