    Awesome!
Thank you for taking the time to go over all your details.
What did you learn, and what would you change doing this build?

I had to go one size bigger (12ga) with the wires to the elements and use a hydraulic crimp tool. Had the wires burn up a the crimp twice. I do use it hard, though. It runs for 4-5 hours a day, three days a week.

I love how this thing turned out. I'm planning on building something almost identical in size. Id like to make it about a foot taller in height. Do you think two heating elements would be sufficient for something just a little bit bigger than your setup?

Thanks! Mine is working great with just the one element running so you should be good with two. My working element is 3410 watts. Make it as big as you can because I’m already planning on building something larger. It can definitely use more height and a little more width.

What was your total cost for the build? Just the oven not the base

I never totaled it up but I’d guess probably around $500. If you buy sheets of galvanized steel at somewhere like an HVAC shop you’d cut a bit of the cost down.
