If only most knew this secret , that the month of fasting is a month of discipline, giving and changing not for elaborate over the top parties. ...I find it so strange how some people gain so much weight in the month of fasting when they are supposed to be lean and have their bodies de-toxified by less eating and by doing spiritual inner and outer works.
Washi ibn Harb reported: They said, “O Messenger of Allah, we eat but we are not filled.” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Perhaps you eat separately?” They said yes. Our iftar is simple stress free and what's more we lose weight. It is disgusting what Ramadan has become.
