GrandTheftAutoTrillogy's It's most likely a sample they've pulled from another piece of music or audio clip and they've looped it. This is the studio version of the song paired with footage from a live practice, so I'm imagining that the actual live practice had just a synthesizer playing the closest notes possible or they've managed to bind they notes from that sample onto each key of the keyboard. If they play it live at all though, I'm imagining they just use a synth and play some close notes or play that sample off of a laptop or something.
So... your ENTIRE life isn't a lie... Don't worry. xD

@@tobeharrowed To me it sounds like a sample from Drinkee by Sofi Tukker, although that song came out 5 years AFTER Sleepwalker so I'm kinda baffled. I don't think they share a common sample or anything and there's nothing about it online as far as I can see

I was playing GTA 5 when one of their songs started playing and I got excited because I actually thought Jay Gordon was back until I found out it was this band.lol The song was "Feel The Same". He sounds near identical in the chorus.
Love their use to effects, sequencers, and synths. You would think with all the tech coming out more bands would be doing this.

12 years later and this song not only still slaps but hasn't aged at all, one of my favorites to blast anywhere I go.
I miss the Coldplay style back in early to mid 2000's that "heavier" guitar style slowly fading away hence why I started listening to Battle Tapes
If you want a indie/alternative rock band that's really good, I recommend Stuck in the Sound.
They are really good and there music videos are deadly to boot

I'm so glad I found out about this song quite early, otherwise I would get annoyed with the entire comment board reading, "[insert popular game/movie/commercial] BROUGHT ME HERE!!!!!!!" Either way, I'm glad that people like bigstabby did a little bit of 'research' beyond GTA V. Great game and all, it's just that I remember when Feel The Same had about 1,000 views. Nonetheless, this is music is awesome regardless of how you know it.
