Hello mam,please help. For my elephant ear plant ..it's leafs are shrinking day by day and new leafs are coming but after2,3 days it's became yellow and dying.only positive thing is new leafs are coming continuously.
I recently bought this plant and kept it in my balcony for 1 week then repoted it. Now one by one its leaves are getting brown. What can I do to save it?
My dracaena from my mom's funeral service has browned/blackened and the top flopped over. Stem is brown too. 💔💔 I have been leaves at the top. 🤞 So I've put the cutting leaves in water and soil about to go outside and throw the rest on the dirt/flower bed. I hope I can get something to grow💔.. another thing I think the water from the faucet kills my pants. I try to use bottled water. I just boiled some water.. I don't know what to do, any advice is greatly appreciated. ❤️

How do nursery people grow plants so much large in just small grow bags?
I need to know a very basic doubt... When you say the plant should not get too much water but then it thrives in the rain? How does that work? Also about the soil , i use the potting mix from Amazon and that has a tiny amount of perlite in it, do i need to add more perlite to this mix or does that potting mix work as it is?
If you're okay with spending few more bucks then use pumice instead of perlite.
Perlite quality in Indian market is too bad.
If perlite is in powder form it's not good for roots.
Also with time perlite will disappear or usually just float on top soil.
And if you can easily find rice husk then that's the best alternative ever.
Use it everytime you repot.
But again don't buy rice husk online but if you can get it in regular atta chakki kind of place.
But it's really hard to find in cities.

Cut away the tip of the main stem. It'll help with the branching as apical dominance would be over. 👍😀

I just love the way you love your plants. But it’s not really good to say everytime that it’s ok if we kill one or two plants in our learning period. Plants do feel and they do have emotions. They can even read your mind and it’s proven by many scientists like Cleve Backster, Marcel Vogel and many. if you give your intention that you want them to be healthy, even cactus will grow in moist soil breaking the natural law.

Hello Ma’am, recently i started keepimg plants in my home,,, my maali say we should give fertiliser every month to all plants. Can you please help me on that.. i have tulsi, palm areca, somg of india, agloneama,hibiscus, rubber plant, dumpcane, aloevera , jasmine, money plant, dumpcane snake plant. He put neem khali which cost me 150rs pee kg nd put 15 kga each month. Not very sure that he is just doing this to make

The neem khali rate is right. Even in my city local market has same rate. Neem khali prevents fungal attack in roots. But no need to give it every month.
Whatever the plant's growing season is, then only it should be fertilized.
Mostly recommended to fertilize during winter or spring.
When repotting should give Neem khali, DAP, npk.
And if you can give compost especially leaf mould compost once in 2 months that would be great.
Leaf mold compost and vermicompost can be given in summers too.
Bone meal should be given to citrus and flowering plants.

Outdoor. But not direct heat.
Why is it called as "Song of India"?
Just a nick name, its native to Madagascar and has nothing to do with India. it's names so maybe because it's found in some islands located in the Indian Ocean.

If really want to waste money then better buy pumice.
Perlite quality in Indian market is so bad. If such dusty perlite is used the plant roots suffoctes, and eventually rots. Even if you control your watering it just rots.
After following such great gardening youtubers I also started using perlite and cocopeat. And even my plants died after repotting.
Better use pumice or just sand or fine gravel..
But if using sand remember soil becomes compact and need to repot again after a year.
