- Los Angeles County -- particularly the Pasadena and Alhambra areas -- was rattled by an earthquake Sunday morning. The preliminary 3.5-magnitude quake struck four kilometers south-southwest of South Pasadena, the USGS said. KTLA 5 Director of Content and Coverage Peter Wilgoren phoned in to the station to describe what he felt from his home. (June 2, 2024)

I didn't feel a thing (in Northridge). Where you check about earthquakes isn't Twitter/X. The USGS website lists them within seconds.

I was at a soccer game in San Marino and did feel it. For a few seconds, I didn't know if it was an earthquake or if a kid was running on the bleachers 😅
My dog did not bark at all lol. Me and my wife just felt a strong jolt.

I work nights and went to bed at 8am. It woke me up and I immediately realized it was an earthquake. Checked my phone to confirm and yep. Im at Monterey park.

People stop we had a 5.2 here and in New York City and most people didn't feel anything.
Realize all that matters when you get an earthquake is the depth the deeper goes the more destruction and the more you're going to feel it.
