    I truly wish Beta would give us a version of the Race Edition at a price point closer to the RX. A lot of us (myself included) just end up spending more on a race harness and throw the lights up on a shelf. I'd much rather have the RX with the motor and tune from the Race Edition with an 18inch rear wheel and Race edition suspension tuning. Luckily, we have everything we need to build it ourselves, but it feels like I wasted a bucket of cash and parts getting it there.

      I agree 100% and honestly since I have been paying more attention to this model we have already sold 6 of these this year. Which is a huge amount for us as they just released these a month ago. I hope Beta turns that Race Edition into a true RE off road model in the near future. Enjoy The Ride, Jared

    Thank you great walk around and comparison video extremely helpful. You, your family owned shop, and your videos are very professional. Very glad I came across your channel. Wish you were closer than 1400 miles away. I am new to the beta world currently waiting for my 300rx. You provide the most informative videos about the models / bikes I have seen. I am unfamiliar with how the beta parts / preferred dealer stuff works but I will certainly keep you in mind when I make my first order. Please keep making and sharing this type of great content.
    If I was nitpicking I would say I wish they gave the RX300 the upgraded/new radiators. Im guessing if I am doing motocross only I dont have to worry about adjusting that frame stop lock nut ever, or worry about it breaking from a crash etc?. Also I wish they would eliminate the thermostat elbow completely just to have more room to work on engine and one less possible fail point. I was hoping for the two spark plug head like brad freemans to make its way to the mx line but perhaps its not good for that not sure. Just figured it would give us old vet guys that do mostly moto more low end grunt.
    Thanks again for the attention to detail on your videos. Sorry for the long post, I just wanted you to know that everything you are doing is very much appreciated. God Bless. Brian-

    Couple other things to mention the RX uses a 38mm carb rather than a 36mm and it also uses a shorter silencer. I didnt know about the steering lock as well or the petcock which is interesting.

    Interesting points about the 'stiff' suspension on the RX. If you look at the 2023 Beta spring chart it states the shock springs are the same on the RX and RE, but the fork spring is one step stiffer on the RX (.46 vs .44). If you look at the Beta service tech KYB fork set up guide, it states the spring rates are the same for both bikes, which is confusing. I wonder what the 2024's have for spring rates...? I've watched some motocross reviews on the RX whereas riders complain the suspension is too soft for motocross, so again, I'm wondering how 'stiff' the RX really is..?

      I am almost all the way out on compression, and slowed rebound way down and took some cc of oil out forks and it’s is very nice…. I am coming from ktm xc models with the air fork and the rx kyb is SOOOO MUCH better than the air fork, it is so freaking nice….. tracks straight, plush, not harsh at all…..

      The tunability of the bike is so much better than my TBI bikes….. with an Alan key and the two maps I can make the bike feel like 7 different motorcycles in a day…..going back to jetting is a plus in my book, I dont have to drop thousands for someone to “jailbreak” my bike any more….. I am so happy with my RX…. Beta just gained a new loyal customer 👍

    I'd really appreciate a hare scramble on this thing. I'm seriously considering this bike for hare scramble racing. Currently rocking a YZ250X and am researching the RX and RE bikes. RE would get the full race setup as I don't want lights or anything and it costs more....

    Looks like Beta’s are turning purplish blue. Funny watching the color progression. Every other brands easily identifiable by color. I wonder why Beta is messing around with that so much?
    From white/red to red, now red/blue for the RE. If the front fender is now blue wonder if the rear will be next year.

      @3SeasRecreation  Před 8 měsíci

      Haha yea the blue is maybe a bit purplish... I think they have always had a bit of blue in the Race models so it's not super new. Just hope we don't get any closer to purple LOL

      @seashackf1 Před 8 měsíci

      @@itsaRiotI love 2 strokes, but they don’t seem optimal for a timbersled. 450 4 st seems better torque and engine life wise. If you don’t mind me asking why did you choose it over the 4 st and how has it been?

    • @itsaRiot
      @itsaRiot Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@seashackf1 it's the only bike I have. My local dealer has a beta 450 RX with my name on it. I will be running that this year hopefully it's released soon. The 300 does remarkably well with the timber side I did ride a 450 but there is a little bit of a difference but the two-stroke does feel a lot more lighter and more nimble than the four stroke. You do have to rebuild the two strokes more often but I can rebuild mine about 6 hours with basic tools versus the four stroke.
