This is like the coolest and most Intimidating looking mass produced puzzle ever. I'm thinking of buying one just to put it on a shelf and have people be like: "What is this? Are you kidding me!" :)
Any bandaging puzzle terrifies me 😅 This one certainly looks fantastic on a shelf but if you can solve it yourself, that's even more impressive, though probably very difficult.
Amazing puzzle, David! I got mine yesterday, and I solved it in about 4 hours time! It was a very frustratingly fun solve! 😃 Congratulations on getting several of your designs mass produced!
@Hypercube Master any chance of you posting a video tutorial with the steps/some algorithms you have come up with and used to solve the Andromeda cube? :)
That looks great! It's always amazing to have one of your puzzles mass produced. What causes those spring sounds while turning? Is there a way to reduce that noise? A few of the puzzles I own also make that noise and I find it quite annoying.
Thank you! I don't know if Lanlan plans to release any alternate body colors, although I suspect not since it's probably going to be a small production run.
Yes, it looks great. I just wish it were made by Qiyi. Unfortunately for Lanlan, the bar has been raised so high with the addition of the Qiyi Clover and Clover Plus cubes on the market. Also, I find it odd that Lanlan reduced the size of your 3d printed version...considering how many axes of rotation are involved. The Qiyi Clover cubes are almost exactly the same size as your prototype.
@@PitcherPuzzles Just placed an order for this cube. It occurred to me that I was already ordering the Lanlan Sunflower cube which is actually the same size as the Andromeda...and has the same features: edge turning, jumbling, shape shifting. I'll let you know if I ever solve this one. Lol.

Ha! Thank for the kind words!

Congratulations!!! I'm glad your collaboration with Lanlan keeps bringing us more of your great designs. I'm waiting for my puzzle to arrive home!
Thanks, and I hope you enjoy the puzzle!
Congratulations! It's always good to see another of your puzzles mass produced.
Thanks! It is always nice to know my puzzles are appreciated!
Beautiful! It turned out great!
Thanks, glad you like it!
Congrats! I would love Andromeda Dodecahedron to be next :)
Thank you! Andromeda Dodecahedron would be quite something to mass produce. I doubt it would happen, but you never know.
Wow! This looks fantastic puzzle.
Thank you!
I ordered one myself and am very excited for it to arrive.
Thank you, enjoy the puzzle!
Great to be mass produced, hope you get reward per sold unit.
Thank you!

The noise can be reduced mainly by taking the puzzle apart and lubricating the springs
@@akeustlom thanks, I will try that 🙃
Thanks, I hope you enjoy the puzzle! I think proper lubing should make the puzzle turn better and reduce the spring noise.
Nice cube! I always wanted to have one! do you know if it will be released in trasparent body?
Thank you! I don't know if Lanlan plans to release any alternate body colors, although I suspect not since it's probably going to be a small production run.

All good points. Still, its nice to have the puzzle available to many more people!

That should keep you busy for a while. Hopefully you enjoy the puzzles!
