  • The cells of the human immune system are like different types of martial artists, each with their own job to do to protect the body. In multiple sclerosis (MS), the immune system turns against a person’s central nervous system (CNS), interrupting communications within the brain and between the CNS and the body. Using martial artists as a metaphor, learn how B cells, important defenders within the immune system, play a central role in MS.

"Absolutely captivating video! The clever use of martial artists as a metaphor to explain the roles of different cells in the human immune system made the complex topic of multiple sclerosis incredibly accessible. The illustrations were not only visually engaging but also served as effective tools for understanding how B cells, akin to skilled defenders, are central players in the immune system's response. Truly informative with a creative touch!"

I thought that what enters the BBB, and initiates the cascade of events are T cells, not B cells?
