The tree bit reminds of my 30 high school reunion. A bunch of us who knew each other since Kidergarden went to a 150 year old Live Oak Tree that we played in as kids and hugged it and took photos. It was so emotional for us.
Lovely scene! It's *great* seeing the crew visit the tree that they studied under when at the Academy nine *hundred* and thirty years ago. A time of joy during years of sometime nightmarish anguish. Something that this show doesn't have nearly enough of. Hopefully, in the future, the Burnhams and Mr. Book will travel to Earth to help Michael re-connect with her human roots.
