Constructive Criticism: Your microphones are clear and concise, but I would advise turning up the volume. We can always decrease the volume on our devices, but we cannot go beyond max.
You may have thought of this by now as I’m just starting(and loving,and being inspired by) the series, perhaps putting the audio through a compressor plug-in so the softs are louder and the louder are not so loud.
A humble suggestion.

Pluto's fight against the lily is a lesson on having fun and not getting pissy for being basically unable to take a turn
The average player would growl ooc. Grumble and offer zero.roleplay unless they got to be the badass.

Shouldnt Joe have had advantage on the save here? You have advantage on saves from charms when youre being attacked by the thing charming.
That sequence where Pluto failed his wisdom save over and over was utterly brilliant.
He may have been using a d6. It sure seems that way

Remember, he has elven Accuracy, it was triple 1s!

I love how all 3 of the players play their faults. At first I couldn't figure out Veo's but then realized it how closed off she is with the denizens of Drakkenheim and is only worried about survival. I love watching her starting to open up and save people instead of the smart play of running. This is such a great lesson how important it is to have faults as a character. I know you probably don't believe me but I now look forward to your adventure more then Critical Role each week. Don't get me wrong I still love critical role but I am so much more invested with your characters. Not enough can be said about Monty and his story telling abilities.
I know this is asking a lot but will we ever see Kelly run a game? Would even be fun to see a one shot.
She also has another fault, one word: food.

I completely agree. These guys play their characters so well, faults and all. Also Monty is an incredible DM, his ability to paint a picture in the minds of players (and listeners) is way above and beyond most DMs. I truly wish, some way, some how, I could play in one of his campaigns!
@@illoney5663 yeah food wouldn't be a fault except that she paid full price for those rations (3 gold more) for fish that was a few silver.
The interviews that they filmed with the players before they began the campaign mentioned Veos survival instincts and how she was used to being on her own and was going to have to learn how to trust again now that Sebastian had returned. I agree that it's awesome how these characters are played in such a human way. It's something I find difficult to do with the characters I play.
Volume levels a bit low on this one. Have to put it on a speaker. Other than that, the chemistry between the group, as well as the audience, continues to improve. Hands down the best d&d stream I've seen on youtube, despite the lack of technical discourse. A good medium.
BLVCKBEVRD agreed. I enjoy this show but the volume is so low it is unlistenable at times.

Yeah I was listening on headphones at work and could barely hear the last half hour or so even on full blast volume.

Another fun one! I love how Veo builds the backstory/law by telling us about her childhood and survival in Drakkenheim. It's done really well and feels so natural, nice one Jill and I assume Monty I'm gonna have to steal this idea for my campaign.

This episode has a really great grim fairy tale feel; like something out of Hellboy. Redcaps are a great monster, and any sort of Jenny Greenteeth character is always terrifying.
I feel super inspired listening to these plant descriptions, now I wanna design a park very badly in my campaign
lol i need to know, how much work did it take you to build up the whole city? You really give the feeling whatever they do you got the scenario ready. I enjoy the 3 ghosts but the DM amazes me.

I love the fact that even though Pluto was walking towards his death he was determined to obtained that yellow flower lilly. I hope they bring this up in future episodes.

As a kid I loved the kid's mystery book series' about Jupiter Jones a.k.a. Alfred Hitchcock's Three Investigators. This rival of Pluto's cracks me up every time he shows up.
I am loving this campaign. The setting is super cool and interesting and the characters everyone is playing are great as well.

Sebastian has the most epic moments. The moment when he was above the city about to fight the red dot. Viewing the city and now the thunderstep moment was epic.

I love the RPing. “Beating” the game, takes a back seat to RP ( ie Pluto wanting the Lily, drowning poor Veo and her upset at Pluto 👍🥰).

Made it to episode 10 on my grind to catch up with the whole campaign up to the 3rd one
Well late to the party, but enjoying it. Last Dungeons & Dragons I played was AD&D so all these damage numbers, powerful cantrips, etc. all seems so zany to me! Really fun to watch though.
Veo is a master archer. Holy moly. Those poor Gnomes. LOL

At about 54:47 you showed the large scale terrain map with buildings; wondering where I can find that?
I have always had in mind that someone in the mage tower has summoned or otherwise caused this meteorite to plummet toward the tower. Most likely an accident, but could have been greed or even assasination attempt.
It's location is just way too obvious neating the mage's who causes multitude of mishaps (ie. Crow).
Meteorite coming to Earth is caused with other reasons, but the actual hit point could have been lured there by the mages.
Who was castig meteor strike on that day??? 🤩
Okay so this kind of blew my mind concerning the Amethyst Academy tower and the description given for it.
I'm currently playing NeverWinter helping my fiance level. As I was looking across the scenery I see The Cloak Tower. "Huh that looks oddly familia..... Ayyyyyyyy!!!" Lol
