For face body accident or surgical scars you can start massage rosehip oil, sea buckthorn oil ( i prefer this one as its anti-inflammatory omega 7 as well as removes it removed discoloration like rosehip. What i found worked best was immediately after removing stitches ( it wheels in old discolored scars as well) surgical grade silicone strips you can order from pharmacy (Ceca care) professional surgical grade it's nice and thick i prefer it or buy some in store/ online amazon Scar Away ect many others. What i did is cut the silicone to my scar length and it's self sticks but i still used the self cling medical tape and wrapped around to add some pressure to the silicone against my scar especially if it's raised one. Longer you keep it on the better. I kept it 8-12 hrs , overnight and on days i stayed home I'd be wearing it all day in between showers. Silicone is washable just gentle soap and warm water and it sticks again. It took away discoloration completely and it's great for raised scars surgical as well keloid ( it will flatten and reduce it to some extent but it took away discoloration now my scar is same as my skin within 2-3 months and healed for most part in 12 months. In some cases for more raised scars like keloid may require some injections ( ask the plastic surgeon or dermatologist there are few options as well lasers) some lasers are more gentle and immediately remove discoloration and more abrasive like the co2 will improve the texture usually one treatment is enough , although my scar fsded to my skin tone or was not completely flat and i didn't like the texture although it was very narrow surgery scar ( doc stitched it up very tight so it's not much wider than hair line but it's not flat)
Some keloid scar therapy costs may be covered by insurance however make sure you find a plastic surgery or aesthetic clinic that specializes in scars not just Botox tummy tucks boob jobs... they will not care or be helpful with scars, i had to get 3rd opinion until i found an awesome doctor that helped to improve the look of my scar. It was right in middle of my face so that’s why it cornered me so much from a horrible injury. I let my scar heal and wore silicone strips for 4-6 months until the skin healed first and inflammation went down before i took laser route

Hello, great video! I watched another scar video that recommended both sunscreen and the silicon gel. If I wanted to use both, what order would I put them on in? Can I put sunscreen under the silicon patches?

I have a scar on my finger from a cut from a couple of months ago, it looks like a small red bump on the skin. Is it still possible for the scar to fade out and become less noticeable? Would you recommend surgery or injections? Would a silicone finger tube help? I started using a silicone gel scar treatment but I'm afraid it's too late...

I'm still waiting for my silicon patch I ordered online. I will also get a gel. My stitch near my eye is healed but my nose isn't. My nose spit out the white disolvable stitch. It is still open and not properly healing 13days now. My scar on the eye area is bulky now with keloid. I wanted the mole to get off but I was replace by a horrible scar. I just exachange the moles with a nasty scars. My advice is never take invasive surgery for moles. Just get laser or radiofrequency. You will regret the invasive surgery and it gives you nasty long scar, and your body might spit out the stitch inside and it will be creepy when you see it coming out. I regret getting this mole surgery ☹

I was thinking the same, as I love the actual smell of Nivea. I am using it, however and it is suiting me, but can see how it may set off allergic reactions. I think you can also use natural oils like coconut as well.

Although out skin is good at healing Itself by regretting a matrix of collagen producing new skin it may not always look as perfect and a scar might be evident. The area that healed will never be 100%as strong as it was prior so if there is ever injury to that area it’s easy for the skin to break open. Did you let your scar heal completely. It takes 12months for scar to fully stop healing D in some cases if deeper scar may still be healing beneath and inflammatory process may take up to 5 years max to fully heal. So take care of it try to cover it when a silicone patch it self sticks and helps with the healing it can be washed and reused. There are variety of silicone scar strips from pharmacy surgical grade and they have ones like scar away and mederma , scar out I liked the scar out and it’s cheap because its so thin and see through can be worn on face or anywhere throughout the day it night and it’s sold over amazon

PUBG PC LITE GAMING silicone strips. On top of the scar, mederma night cream ( not so much for bigger keloid) there are few types of injections one being corticosteroids specific to keloids, sine dermatologist and plastic surgeons will perform these injections not all specialises in keloids or scars . Lasers mild and more abrasive to help when the texture of the scars... start when the silicone wear it overnight or 8-12 hrs a day if possible. In like ceca care surgical grade silicone. You can cut to size of the scar and reuse them
