- The PS4 is rapidly becoming one of my favorite systems of all time. There are so many interesting and unique physical releases, that it really does feel like the modern PS2. Here is a rundown of every game I own (or the first half, second part to follow).

I've been considering doing collection videos by system for years and I think I finally have a format in mind that will work well for me. Now I just need the motivation, lol

I honestly had no idea costume quest 2 and Game Tengoku had a physical release! My wish list is growing by the seconds watching these videos!

This video is giving me the itch to collect for the PS4. It really is an incredible system, in terms of pure library it's up there with the all time greats.
Speaking of all time greats, it's ironic that 13 Sentinels is the first game in this video, because it's the #1 PS4 game in my heart.

Dang, that's certainly a lot of games. The PS4 is definitely the console I have the most games for as well, about 180 physical, and it's definitely still increasing. I'm not exactly a collector per-se, there's just that many games I actively want to play and I keep nearly everything I get. I think my backlog currently consists of 20-ish PS4 games for instance. It's smaller than my PS5 backlog funnily.
The fun thing about watching these type of large collections is just discovering new games you haven't seen before. Never know if you'll see something you'd want to get yourself.
That said, hmm, "The Girl and the Golem" caught my eye. Well, it's more that I already heard about it, I'd just forgotten since I never kept note of it. So thanks for reminding me of it at the very least. Doesn't seem all that expensive either.
But yeah, now that I'm at the end, there is definitely more crossover between our libraries than I thought but still not that much. Think there was only like 25-30 games we both share, at least up to the N/O/P area anyway. Though of course, it's also likely some of those missing titles you have on Switch or PS5 instead.
I almost kind of want to throw some recommendations of my own but I think I'll wait until at least the second part to get a fuller picture.

If a game has PS4 and PS5 versions, which one do you get?
I always go for the PS5 version, I figure I'd rather have the most current/best running version. So anything I have on PS4 that is on both platforms I probably bought before a PS5 version came out.
