Good video. The only advice I would add to watchers is to make sure your batteries are fully charged before you take it apart unless your planning on not using it. I personally own one of these and must say it is perfect for getting around in town and stores as longs as they are handicap accessible. Make sure you get the one that has a 400lb capacity as you will need it in order to get any reasonable amount of use out of it as any extra weight on top of yourself draws from the batteries as well. Thanks for sharing.
The VA is providing me with one of these so thank you so much for this instruction. I do have a pickup truck so they're going to put a lift crane in the back but it's good to see that it can be packed into a trunk if necessary. Thank you so much and God bless you
You don't use your back to lift up anything, you squat down and use your legs to lift.. And how many mobility chalenged people can do that or use any of the techniques shown here.. Just look at the strain in this guys body and voice when he lift's the base off the ground and then spins it around like a windmill before placing it in the trunk, those batterys are also heavy.. Its good idea on paper or if you have someone that is not chalenged to load and unload for you, and nobody will do that for you nowadays..
IMO? Unless your Out of the USA? I would only buy a Scooter from a Dealer, just like buying a Car.. Follow up Services is the main reason..Its going to need Repairs..From the Throttle to Elec. Gearing and Batteries ( ave every 2 yrs) Buying a Used one? Know what your Buying and Unless have one already with Experience? Take it to a Dealer to ck it out for you( Just like buying a Used Car from a Private Seller) .Pay them the ave of $25-$50 to Inspect it.. Its worth it..
The back base with lights is only about 55lbs so, i personally would need a strong person to help me as i am not able to lift it by myself. Due to my back issues. But i do know a lot of women who can lift it on there own! So, women we are strong enough to do it! If your not a senior citizen who lacks muscle strength. Ok off to take mine apart to clean it. ☺

but I cannot pick up lift more than 10 lbs....
I'm a female will this be to heavy for me to lift?
If you're over 80, it will be. The base is the heaviest part.
No way, the battery's are heavy, the base, the motor and even the seat which is the lightest part.
@@ricardomierz8467 You are right I finally got one and there’s no way I can lift it.😁
