Just did it with ease by instead of going for the little nook in the rock I went a bit more along the edge clockwise, so it'd be farthest removed from the middle, and I have many MANY pixels left to place another on the right side.

If your base is at the beach of sakurajima where the kitkits spawn don't try this, move your base. I tried this for hours there and couldn't get it because the oil spots are on slopes, went somewhere else and got it basically first try
Open the chests on top right sanctuary think there is about 12 up there not sure how often they spawn you can always try the other 2 sanctuary areas too and any bosses that you ain’t defeated before they will give you 1
@@mikechapman3869 yeah I was doing the sanctuaries and didnt notice i had some book for ancient tech. Didn’t think they would spawn on those chest. But hopefully they keep spawning more. Thanks!
They have some sanctuary island on the map and here of them might me purple or yellow chest around 12 chest per island but the ancient tech books will only drop in purple chest try collect all of them, it can be hard to get ancient cause most of them were manual tech book. Keep trying pal I got 38 spare point left and still own 18 ancient books.
I took me several minutes to get two pumps on one well. The problem I had was the second oil well was very close to the first so I had to put them at a different angle. Now I’ve got four pumps and had to add a second power generator and more Orzerks. I wish I’d done this sooner. I’ve had to go raid the oil rig several times and hunt oil pals to speed things up.
Problem. Impossible to know if the 1st one is correctly put until the 2nd one verifies construction capability. Then again, unable to know if the 2nd one is being tried correctly.
There is a much simpler way to do this just change the alignment mode on one of them so it’s tilted halfway up then just put the other one normally on the other side (mb if it doesn’t make sense If u want a picture comment ur discord
Doesn't matter if it wasn't, the Oil Rigs take way to damn long. I'm at the perfect spot with 3 locations to Drill, I took over the Oil Rig with insanely good Pals. This shit is slow as hell, I don't care how people try to justify this AFK grind. I'm just putting the game down til the next added content.
🤣🤣i mean it doesn’t take THAT long… it’s just the electricity that’s annoying. u can get a ton of oil from meteors/airdrops/oil rig or killing pals anyway
It's definitely hard to pull off. It took forever but I got it on two nodes. Nowhere near as clean as this. I had to bow one out to where it's practically laying on its side
As a fellow console player , I can say It can be done on that node Mamba here showed you, it's a lot of fiddling for sure. Cannot for the life of me get it to work on any other node so far, tried it at the Volcano with three oil nodes and since the ground is uneven as all hell, I can't find the sweet spots on any.

UPDATE: July 27th, this still definitely works🙏🏼. If I knew how to make a tutorial I would, but he is definitely right with the directions🤙🏼

So i tried this, it worked. I only needed 2 power supplies for 4 oil rigs. My 4 ozerks have nocturnal on so they just continuously power it
I built my 3rd base here and seeing buildings on the mushrooms is genius. Definitely gonna try that as well as this glitch.

This doesn't look like a glitch. It looks like an exploit. You're exploiting things the game gives you that wasn't intentional.
