I watch a video like this, and I quickly realize that I haven't lived. At all. A trip like this is definitely something to work up to. Thanks for the upload.
Wow - thank you for sharing. You have an excellent eye for 'the shot' and clearly put a lot of thought into your filming and production. You are living the dreams of others (including me) and it's lovely to be taken along for the ride with you! Big thanks from another outdoor adventurer in Sydney, Oz - Dave PS. Australia (especially Tasmania) and New Zealand offer lots of bike-packing heaven! My kids are almost old enough to get out there on their bikes and do the same. Can't wait. :-)
Only telling the truth JT. I like to bikepack, and I hope to stay in a bothy some day. I know they are all over Scotland. Inspirational is a good word for your content. Its even more powerful coming from a woman IMHO. Love your last name too! LOL very cool. People need to get out and connect with nature and decompress. This resonates with me. Anyone encouraging that and exercise is to be supported and admired. My only complaint is that I want to see more of your adventures. I hope that is not rude or forward. Oh and You have a noticeable sway in your hips while pedaling, so you might have your seat tad high. I could be wrong, and you just push a big gear. If it ain't broke sometimes don't fix it. Anyway peace and love - peace and love Jenny Tough big fan in USA
I echo these compliments - great video. Relaxing and beautiful place. I also thought your saddle seemed too high as your leg is very extended on the downstroke... if you're comfy and quick that's fine but just watch for tendon strain (probably notice it behind the knee at top of calf)!
Lovely video mss Jenny..i love Scotland and i ll hopo to moove there with my family in the future.I also love MTB and want to tell you a questo!? Are that tipe of hause free in Scotland?Every people can stay in during the night?
I love your fast and light style, Scotland looks amazing, this style trip is on my list. I think those misty mountains would be a magical right, you sure captured my imagination
Awesome video with great scenery! Very well put together. In you future videos Jenny, feel free to offer some commentary on your thoughts as your riding through various places. Thanks for posting such an entertaining trip.
I have to say that you are one of the best vloggers out there. Your camera work is superb. The score is beautiful. You not only have the guts to take on the challenges faced (your other clips) but you film it in an artistic manner. Congrats to you!
Jenny, I came across your website and your adventures only yesterday but I have to confess: I'm stoked! Not only the adventure itself but also the amount of effort you spend on documenting it. The footage is amazing and it probably pays a big toll on the amount of back and forth kms you double up to set up the camera. Even your scariest and hectic moments are on film. Amazing work and very inspiring. Thanks. I've been watching all of them, one after the other :-)
Wow thanks so much Daniel! Yeah I don't calculate the extra km's I do going back for the camera... It would probably stop me doing it :). Cheers so much for your very kind comment!
Love these mini adventures Jenny. The Cairngorms is the place to get into the wilderness & glens. Your kit is very minimal which I`m still working on reducing & getting rid of the non essential extras. Super video.
Thanks! Going minimal makes a huge difference when you hit the singletrack... The bulk of my kit on this one (and always) is warm layers to sleep in becuase I'm always scared I'll be cold, and I usually am! Thanks for your kind comments, happy riding! :)
JT at risk of getting in trouble. I wanted to say that the shot you framed at about 2:30 looking out the window was video gold. That is the moment of connection between you and the watcher of the bothy night night story. IMHO dead on amazing image right there of what you were telling us in this story/video. LOL sorry I don't mean to annoy.
That's a great little film. I do a little solo filming and appreciate the effort that goes into. Now let's have the next one! 😀 Going to post this on our little FB page if that's okay!
Nice under water shot, something different, a different angle that really works. Have you thought of adding commentary? I am sure you would be a good narrator. Maybe a few test short films before you are satisfied to publish? Thanks so much for making and posting your excellent films. Scotland is so beautiful.
Those colours at 1:50, either you've spent too much time at preprocessing or nature must be really colourful and full of contrast there. And given the amount of time that has passed since summer solstice, the first option isn't really plausible.
Hello - It's an old Rock Lobster, discontinued many moons ago, I'm afraid. Basically a mid-range hardtail, which has suited me very well for bikepacking adventures! :)

I am thrilled about the work you put into this movie. I hope there are still many of these wonderful shots.
Thanks Michael!
Crackin' little film.
Particularly like the long shots showing you riding through the wider landscape. Nice choice of music again.
Thanks Jim! :)

@@JennyTough_ you do all the hard work and it is appreciated!

This is a great little film.

Nice video. I really like to see more women do this kind of ridin. Gonna start my own projekt this summer. Great content - waiting for more.
A very beautiful video, I'll have to look closer at your channel.
Simple video but very effective. 👍
Happiness is only real if shared :)

This chick is a badass, I like your style!
Thanks Chris! :)
Great views...... viele Grüße Dirk
Nice video. Passed by that one a couple of times but still not been in.
Me too! I decided it was time to finally see what all the fuss was about :)

Awesome! Thanks :)
Wow
Great video and scenery. Could you share some information about your route through the Cairngorms?
좋은영상 잘보았습니다
Nice edit. You reckon your seat is a touch high?
I have a troublesome knee.
I've been to the one at Aviemore but didn't the night but when it gets warmer I'll will
Come to Poland, I invite you. Two wheels one passion.
👍👍👍💘💘💘🍦
This looks great - I'm determined to have my first bothy night this summer. Can you tell me where you started? Is this the northern Cairngorm loop?
Was the Gaick pass in some of that footage? There was a section that looked very much like the path alongside Loch An Duin.
very nice story ;) would be good to ride together soon

No commentary! Most 'Tubers have verbal diarrhoea but Jenny's videos are so beautifully shot they need nothing.
Get out there Jenny do some more stuff
Is that in the Scottish highlands?
nice bike..did you ever used panniers and racks on it?
What camera do you use? Do you just carry one camera and a tripod? Great video!
Hey Ben - I used a LX15 with a very small and light foldy tripod, and I used my GoPro for the underwater bit. Thanks for your kind comment! :)
Do you collect all the cameras that you left behind on your way back ? 🙃
Great video Jennifer. Where did you start from. What was the route please. Atb
Hello - thanks! It's part of the Cairngorms Loop, which you can find gpx files for if you google :)
A little bit confusing as you arrive at Ryvoan bothy from the north after visiting An Lochan Uaine. What happened there?
Nothing gets past you Graeme... The loch isn't very far from the bothy so I went for a visit. That's just how it came out in the edit!
Those colours at 1:50, either you've spent too much time at preprocessing or nature must be really colourful and full of contrast there. And given the amount of time that has passed since summer solstice, the first option isn't really plausible.
I didn't have to do any post colour work on this one! It really was an amazing day and a memorable sunset :)
Well done. If you don’t mind me asking what kind of bike is that? Any link to purchase one will be appreciate. Thanks
I was wondering what the bike was,did you ever find out?
Chris williams No. Not yet.
hardtail mtb but I am not sure about the brand on the lower tube my phone is to small to see those brand clearly
Rock lobster

Think I prefer vidios like yours with little or no commentary and intrusive music.
where is that place? what country?
Cairngorm mountains, Scotland. She put a lovely spin on the place with the twinkly music & got very lucky with the weather....
Great video again , Thanks !!! C-u on IG.
Hi Jenny, do you book into that hut or just rock up and hope a serial killer hasn't decided to bunk in also?
Mountain bothies. No bookings required, no key, nothing. Just don't use all the tinder & tea bags leaving nothing for the next visitor....
+My Frequencies 👌
There is a little mouse at 2:10min.
Well spotted. Luckily, he didn't come back.
2:09 min ratatouille
Thank you so much. You got a subscriber from Iruña, in the Basque Country. How do I find a girlfriend like you...
