Good heavens! It looks like a Levitz Furniture Warehouse showroom complete with all the personality of an ironing board.
If I lived here I’d look out the window at night while it rained and sigh and say “this city...”
The window washer deserves a medal xD
speck of dust on the window.. i'll give you $50 for the apartment
For 70 millions you should own 4-6 floors
1M$ apartment with a 69M$ view... what a joke.
No this apartment is worth around 40 million
Well said, whoever staged the place should be tossed out to central park
6,000+ square feet, not exactly $1M
It's actually priced decently.
If you have to ask the price you can't afford it. LOL
$70mil for 3 bedrooms issa joke mate
Np, just ny
you obviously don't own or understand real estate mate
@@BoDanglezzz He doesnt need to know realestate to know that 70 mil for 3 bedrooms is absurd
@@alpham13 You don't pay for the size of the apartment but the view you get from it. Besides, not everyone wants to live in a 20 bedroom mansion.
Alpha Male no, but a basic understanding of supply and demand you need. This type of place, with these views in this city with this square footage with high quality amenities, is pretty much valued at that price. If you don’t understand the appeal of NYC then you might not understand why it’s so much, but it really simply because there’s not many homes like this but there’s millions of people who want it
Where is the balcony? can you take a step outside?
Yeah, just one though, one really long one.
I think what you meant? Is where is the fire escape!
i dont think any apartment over 50 floors can have a outdoor space, at that height u would probably be blown away from the wind!
@@thatonedog819 an existential one at that.
if there were balconies in Manhattan there would be too many bodies on the street you know
This home is awesome! I appreciate the video Forbes. Don’t know if I’ll ever be fortune enough to live in such a marvellous home however, this video sure does inspire me to do my best to attain such fortune! Thank you again! 💎
Lawrence Stroll owns that appartment. Get inspire by his story ;)
it does not have a build in garage for my Kia??? no, thanks then.
leepakim *honda
I think there most likely is a parking garage in the building.
@@clydelaz that probably costs you another $2K/month
It is NYC, even a Kia is redundant.
It's my dream to live in New York I think it's the greatest city in the world. This to me feels like a fancy hotel. I'd like one of those big buildings with a roof garden. Then you would still feel part of the city rather than isolated from it like this place.
56 Billion??
Did she just say that?
Regardless of what people in the comments think, rich people with an abundant amount of wealth and power would certainly rent the $70 million apartment. These rich elite people have a different view of housing and if they can afford it then why not. 99% of us won't even be able to afford this apartment and who is to say that if you are rich you wouldn't rent it. Clearly, there are rich people already renting an apartment like this. Why would anyone move to a mid western state where nothing happens, when you are rich enough to enjoy New York (the good side atleast). If I was a billionaire, I would definitely consider an apartment like this. These apartments aren't meant for the middle class and even upper middle class, they are meant for the very rich and powerful. I would actually like to hear the opinions of very rich people talking about these apartments and explain the pros and cons.
Dang you typed all that? Lol
I was waiting to view the indoor swimming pool, gym, movie theatre, private off street parking errr nope so technically all you're paying for is view and location!
99.9999% **
Agreed with you.
Speak fo' yourself homie
The piffle realtors spout is laughable
It's often the best part of these videos. Comedy gold. 😅
what she doesn't say is that An apartment at One57 just sold at a $6 million loss and almost all of this building apartments are overpriced and that they drop in price as soon as they are resold
Does it include the furnitures and interior fittings??
This is an absolutely fabulous apartment. Although my preference leans more towards the UES townhouse, west of Lex, I find many compelling reasons to purchase this unit.
What are the flooring made of?
For 70 million I could buy an Estate in France, or a few private Islands in the Caribbean.
Exactly
The view just makes it up
i got real sheep outside my house!
Personally, I prefer humans to sheep.
have*
@@clydelaz he didn't say there were no humans outside his house
Only $70'000.000???? Give me two please. (hahaha)
1:35 i dont wanna see this stupid wall. show us the bathrooms and kitchen for christsake. lovely home either way.
Amazing condo 😍😍😍
All that money and you don’t even get a balcony/patio:(
Anybody else notice all the Jean Dubuffet paintings!?
2:32 that building is obstructing the view. No wonder u showed it toward the end.
Beautiful home
it's not a home, it's a condo, a structure
The whole idea of selling people views is so funny lol
you clearly have never set foot in a house with a nice view my friend
@@channelharry5705 Tell us more.
well what state/province do you live in?@@cornerstone7564
The apartment and building were all brand new and she stated that they ripped everything out to customize it. what a waste of materials. smh
Really nice...
WOW ! I love the installation. So beautiful, I wouldn't know whether to admire the beautiful wall or the scenery.
That wall was done by Peter Lane. Google him and his fabulous art. In my opinion, this wall is TOO muted.
I WOULD RATHER LIVE IN A HOUSE...BUT IT IS PRETTY
Real estate historians are about as useful as telephone sanitation operatives.
Limestone? Do they have total weight allowances as to bringing tonnage into the building . . . building integrity stress allowances?
After 9/11 you couldn't pay me to live here! Guess people with money really are crazy!
real estate historians ? lol
not worth 70 million regardless of the location of the property
@@MotoCzar buying expensive properties is bragging for any human being, not overpaying. Overpaying makes you look like a fool.
Value is subjective and to some this property is worth 70 million.
Value is subjected by demand. Sadly - Manhattan has insane demand which is why their real estate market is insane. Just like San Francisco. This is not your fly-over state town.
Corner Stone you don’t think 70 million is overpaying for only three bedrooms?
The worth is exactely the price the highest bidder is willing to pay ... and not a single Cent more 😛
These apartments were already beautiful. They should’ve left it alone. The customizations are gaudy af
That view and the light that the apartment gets is worth 70 to me but I'd still try to get it for 35 or 40 just on principle
The apt is ok, but the custom wall and the staging is gaudy 👎🏽
I'm living here
"custom" "bespoke" "one-of-a-kind" This, coming from the professional. 😞 People wonder why we don't appreciate the US. *This* is yet another reason.
What's wrong with those words?
PuzzleMessage they’re redundant.
Thanks
70milion 900000000000000milion Thanks
Lovely views.
Vertigo central!
Instead of listening to the whole bag run her mouth I would love to of seen a walk-through of the apartment
Very amazing, because it is the bone of America, the most powerful country militarily and economically
I hate those intrusive interior columns! I assume that they are cost-saving construction methods for the electrical and plumbing.
I know! The columns look so cheap
3 bedroom lol
I just cannot get over how bland the redesign is. I've looked at pictures of this property over and over and have just concluded it sucks. Yes, you want to downplay the interior so as to allow the surrounding view to shine. But New York is not exactly bursting with color. They really could have used Jamie Drake to make this property explode. When I look at what they did to the master bathroom, I want to cry. All that gorgeous, imported, Italian marble gone. The huge, hand-carved, marble bathtub, gone. As a side note, something I find interesting is, both the of the guest bedrooms are not included in any of the photographs of this property. I wonder why?
Agree it was underwhelming and frankly... dated
For 70 million I want to the whole building and a 5 car garage
Exactly
Is it for sale?
nice video
Looks luxurious and who wouldn't want those views, even if you're fearful of heights like I am. However, I am tired of seeing luxury home furnished in white. They think it's elegant, modern, and clean.
Nope, just boring!
Looks no more impressive than many 4 star hotels.
Luxury Real Estate 🇧🇷 #mullerimoveisrj
Remember folks, it’s Billionaires row, not millionaires row. Billionaires need to store large amounts of money into properties (and other investments) they can both use and earn a profit from. You can’t safely store 70 million in a bank account, so it is much safer to store in an overpriced apartment that is insured and almost guaranteed that someone else will want to buy to store their money in the future. Most billionaires never set foot in homes they’ve purchased as store of value investments.
I'm scared of heights and fire and elevators not working. And it's not with that much money.
living your entire live in a 5 star hotel would still be much cheaper
wow look at that shadow on Central Park at 1:56 Disgusting
This is Lawrence stroll Penthouse
overrated property.
Has this been sold already?
No open spaces ?
Keeping....
With 3 dollars in my bank account, can i say this is the ugliest appartment I've seen?
70 billion for that apartment or the whole building?
$70 Million, not Billion. It's just on Billionaires' Street.
70 mil not billion
Lol!
Neither...70 mil gets you the keys. Than you gotta scrap all year to pay a few million in tax bills.
Ownership is when you have no more obligation just to keep possession
I seriously can't see any reason why someone would pay 70million on this apartment. One can easily get a lot better product than this.
For 60 million you can build a 17floor apartment building.
I'm saving up for one of these.
Does it even exist? According to many internet sites, One57 have only 75 floors...
The floors numbers are exaggerated.
Worth about 2 million tops. It’s 3 bedrooms guys.
no house/apt on this earth is worth over $11,000 a sqf !! especially one that feels like you're trapped in an aquarium.
the ceiling is way too low for a 70 million dollar apartment, should be way more open space
is this the building thats had so many problems due to bad construction
Is this a rental mate
This is mad....
Maybe it's just me, but I can't with all white, I get is luxurious to have everything soo low in color that you need an army to clean, but if I ever have an apartment with that view I don't want to bother thinking I left again a food print in the white rug... Instead I would want something that allows me to be alone meditating on my power, not 3 ladies vacuuming at my back. Also that many couches make it look like the vip lounge at the airport...
432 Park Avenue looks so ugly in the background. I looks like it is unfinished!
I could buy half of west Tennessee with the money this guy spent on this.
Lex Luther was RIGHT.
Exactly
Too small and ugly for my expensive taste
Well 70 million usd will be around 10 euros in 5 years so we will pick these up real cheap!
Where are the curtains?
upacarasamadhi They are recessed to be hidden. They are there. Trust me. They are electronically controlled.
:50
This unit still couldn't sell for $70million dollars and no one is surprised
Most of the comments say it sucks due to all kinds of reasons. Actually it only sucks bcos you can never ever own it
wow what a view!!! if a huge earthquake like the one of Japan ! 9.2 what it will happen?
Don't spill your drink.
$10M less than 'cloud 9'.
1st grade art 😂😂😂
Its not a home. Nobody will ever really make a life there. Its a display toy and nothing else.
ngl looks like minecraft rtx
Too much beige and off-white coloring. Its way too high on the 85th floor for my preference. That being said, I do love the design.
just buy oled display to have these views and you will save almost 68Million. lol
For a fraction of that price you could get a brownstone with outdoor space and way more space overall. this is just dumb lol
I could never in my life afford a place like this. How many live in here ?
That right there 👆🏽 is a statement to the universe you just made, and hence why you'll never afford a place like this
The only thing that is 70 million is that woman. She is indeed 70 million, seventy million years old that is.
How is this tiny apt worth 70 mill?
How much did it cost that 60 yo agent to look 65 yo?
Asking for a friend.
MaZe Bank GTA online irl
Even better.
