Aerials are a fundamental of Rocket League. It's something you have to learn. Aerials also happen to be one of the most fun mechanics in Rocket League because the idea of flying in a game like soccer/football is something that's only really achievable in Rocket League. It's one of those mechanics that has the best of both worlds. It's fun to learn and also extremely useful to learn even if you're a low rank. On top of that, it's something that you never really master. Aerials can always be improved even if you practice them for thousands of hours.

@@DjSKitZ929 you just listen to what the guy says and then practice mate it's simple. If you get too frustrated from not succeeding then take a break and come back to it later and keep doing that. You're not going to pick it up in an hour.

I started with level below zero,and now after a week I finally scored the last goal of Level 2, which is a HUGE progress for me. Thank you! I was struggling to learn aerials because I didn’t know how to even approach it - but your leveling system is great! Absolutely love it!

@@CraigKeidel Have we watched a different video? He gives most of his points a very good explanation, points out where people of different ranks make the most mistakes and explains why certain things are done the way they are such as the air roll.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS! I completely avoided aerial training because I was always tapping instead of holding the jump/boost buttons and couldn't understand why I was running the entire field length to reach the height I was aiming for. Thank you!
This is the best tutorial I’ve ever seen, I now can actually aerial in games! I’ve been playing for years with the friends just fundamental ball control but this is going to help tremendously

I rush into it with boost but when I get there the ball just rolls slowly past behind me
@@rianp1300 Focus on where the ball is going, instead of where it is currently. That helped me a lot at the start

Cannot thank you enough for these training packs. After 220 hours, I'm sitting at level 3 and attempting air roll shots on it. I'm seeing great improvement and have evem pulled off a few double taps, probably unintentionally, lol. Thanks man. Keep up the content.
So sad I spent 30 minutes in level 4 and I’m silver rank no cap I can’t feel my fingers anymore and I only have 15 hours in the game

thank you so much for tutorial ! I have 300 hours on league , but i didnt even know fast aerialing existed. I learned how to do it by level 1 pack and then accidently i opened level 4 instead of level 2. Struggled a bit but at last I cleared it. I felt improved. nice tutorial.
I got to diamond 1 without learning aerials. Thanks for this video its made me such a better player and hopefully I will progress fast in the ranks.

The last two training packs are so good for those who are already confident with their aerials. I already feel so much faster in the air from the sudden aerials pack. Hopefully with more practice I can stop getting dusted finally. A lot of them are nice double touch set ups too so extra practice for those reads

I feel like im in between 4 and 5 i do struggle with air roll left as I was so used to spinning right all the time, but im starting to do it a lot more and it genuinely helps a lot. The last training pack he showed is extremely challenging tho, by no means am I the best player out there but I’m very comfortable with my mechanics and that training pack definitely isnt easy whatsoever.
Me knowing that i cant learn everything at the first time i try to do that thing, and that i have to be constant to learn it:

How to airdribble: 1. Find your camera settings, don't follow anyone's camera settings. That way you should be able to angle the cam to where you are used to see it. 2. Put your camera shake off so you could set your shots more smoother and cleaner to position better in the air. 3. Stop for half sec before ball hitting the middle boost line so you can hit more powerful shot. When shot is not still too powerful you can evade the ceiling bounce and we can safely jump off the wall to dribble. 4. Air roll is the actual first act after the jump off the wall so you can setup airdribble to direction of the shot. 5. Use flat car. Any flat car will cause more control when you get used to it. Keep in mind that when you hit upper part of fron of the car you will set the ball higher. That way you can het under the ball so it's easy to set dribble. 6. Dribble is the last thing you need to know about airdribble. You need to boots towards the ball and stop boosting before you hit the ball and after you hit the ball boost so the ball would glue to your car. There is another way to dribble too and its more easy. Its easy to flat cars very specially. Do the flat car physic i told you in part 5 that you must hit the top corner of your car's front. If you do it right you will totally left under the ball and easily finnish the airdribble.

This video man… I started these packs from beginning to end. Started in may of 22. Just went through packs 1-4 today with probably a 95% score rate. If you’re reading this just Stick with it, push through the frustration and aerials will be easy. 2nd pack is hands down the hardest but most important
Hey there, thank you so much for these videos. I have recently been getting into Rocket League thanks to my son. I never really use to take it seriously until now. I am at awe at what can be done once you master all these skills. This video is very useful as I am currently in the process of trying to learn aerials properly. I have been doing them okay for some time but the trouble is I have problems hitting the ball when its moving. I guess it comes with practice and I am slowly getting better at it!

To understand what you showing at level 1 i had to lower the video speed to 50%, i also find that my car is often flipping 360 degrees when i press the jump second time . Thank you for making the video!
Edit: I've trained with goalie all-star to learn aerial and found out that the second jump press should be used to give a bit extra boost once you took the right bearing during the first jump + back press towards the ball in order to close the gap faster.
I was honestly starting to get really discouraged about my aerials and how they weren’t improving but after watching this video it gave me some hope and I’m going to start grinding tf out of them now. Good work wayton keep it up bro.

A tip for Step #2 is to just aim for the peak. It's the easiest to predict AND you don't have to boost downwards after your double jump, like at 4:33 where Wayton flies up then boosts down to hit it.

@@thecinedrone Dude when doing these challenges do I need to press reset the shot after I mess up? Because when I try to do level 2 without resetting I can barely reach 30% and just miss most shots. But I have completed it 100% multiple times by resetting.

Once you get the hang of it then don't reset and see what you get

I'm plat 1 and in plat it is very hard could barely do Level 1, 2 nearly impossible and never got comfortable with any air roll but now I almost consistanly get medium altidude balls with air roll and for the 1st time ever i can get it on goal (and eventually score, still need to work on accuracy + speed/power rather than accurate OR power).. your Training packs & tutorials are awsome!
