In north India, we usually watch movies of south in Hindi dubbed. My whole family loved Dr Rajkumar or Puneeth sir movies. They didn’t knew much about him but I am in awe of this actor by his acting, simplicity, healthy role model for boys and men like us. When he passed away, I kept on watching his movies and cried so many times. I couldn’t believe that such a good actor is no more. You’ll be forever missed Puneeth sir. ❤ 😢

After Appu's demise a Tamil director revealed that he used to donate the money which he earns from singing to an old age home in Tamil Nadu and it seems he as instructed not to reveal this to public.

Appu sir was first actor and star kid who was told that made song for tribute to his fans. And he also said that he was son of every home of Karnataka. As a son of Karnataka he always took strong actions for Kannada and Karnataka. The main reason why we treated him as God because he always treated us as a God.

Even being from Karnataka I'm not a fan of him but he was a good person, humble and helped others a lot. But people are using him for publicity. Media, fans, kannada industry everyone is using his name. It's been two years we need to let him rest in peace.

ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಅವರೇನೋ ಮಹಾತ್ಮರೆ, ಅಷ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಖ್ಯಾತಿ, ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಇದ್ರೂ ಅವರ ರೀತಿ ಬದುಕೋದು ಕಷ್ಟವೇ.. ಯಾರೇ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಕಂಡರೂ ಕಾಲಿಗೆರಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ತುಂಬಾ ಜನ ಅವರ photo ನ ದೇವರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅತಿಶಯೋಕ್ತಿ ಆದ್ರೂ ನಿಜ, ಹೋದ ವಾರವಷ್ಟೇ ನಮ್ಮ್ ಪರಿಚಿತರೊಬ್ಬರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ media ಮಂದಿ ಸಹ ಅವರ ಗುಣಗಾನ ಮಾಡ್ತಾ , ಇವರ ತುತ್ತಿನ ಚೀಲ ತುಂಬಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ channel ಸಹ ಹೊರತಲ್ಲ..
