- A woman recorded a workout video while a military coup is going on behind her. Khing Hnin Wai‘s camera caught a convoy driving through a barricade toward parliament in Myanmar, once known as Burma. The country’s military seized control of the government from civilian leaders after claiming its recent election was rigged. Myanmar already has like the longest Civil War over 7 decades. It’s crazy , Especially knowing my Ethnic group called “Karen” pronounced “Kah Ren” has gone through so much by the Burmese Army, Getting raped, killed, threatened and all that till this day, you should look deeper into it. My parents were refugees and came to the U.S. and became citizens where I was later born , and I learned that from them.
And while the government is committing one of the worst genocide recorded in the 21st century against the Rohingya.
Sad indeed, and UN will say that they’re doing their best to prevent it, while filling up their pockets.
