    Hey there, thanks for this video review, I really appreciated it! I've now felt more confident in going through with my purchase for the "step-through" version of this same bike. I don't handle the leg throw over movement anymore, but am still young enough to enjoy an adventurous ride. I should receive my bike on Saturday, and am really looking forward to assembling it and riding it. I have a travel trailer, and expect it will go on many journeys with me! Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to your next video!

      Out Chasing Light glad you liked it! I’m actually going to make another one as I feel there’s some info I left out!! I hope you enjoy ur new bike! I’m still loving mine! Have been riding all over and added some extra features to it too!!

    Did you do the second or follow up video on this bike as I wasn’t able to find it?
    Thanks for this video and looking forward to your follow up video if you did do one.

    Hello , Do you still have the bike and use it ?

    Thank you for the great overview. My wife has numbness in her wrists after about 45 minutes of riding on a "typical" city bike. We were wondering if the handlebars are adjustable up/down. If not, how high are they off the ground?

    • @urbanandwildca
      @urbanandwildca  Před 4 lety +2

      They do adjust up and down but have quite a high lowest point. They only go as low as the folding clip (you can see that on the video).....but do go a lot higher too! Hope that helps!

    Hello again, I did purchase the step-thru version. My question is on yours does the Trip Meter zero out every time you turn off the bike and when the display times out and shuts down. If so have you been able to get into the setting and change that setting? So far I can not get into it as I think DJ Bikes put in their own setting. Thanks for any help you can give me.
    Ride safe, Gerald

      Hi Gerald. Did you get it sorted? I haven’t had that problem myself. Did you contact DJ bikes?

      @@urbanandwildca Hi, thanks for the reply. I did talk to them and they are to send me a new display unit. Not sure when I will get it yet as they have not given me the tracking number yet. The good thing is I can still use the bike while waiting. :-)

      I took the back fender off now too! Am going to do a video update this week.

    Is it possible to remove the decals?
    Also, how is it going up hills?

    • @urbanandwildca
      @urbanandwildca  Před 4 lety

      Jamie yes the decals are just stickers. They are strongly attached but I’m sure with some goof off etc they would come off. It’s great up hills, faster than our 1000w mountain bike, don’t even need to change gear

  • @geraldleggett
    @geraldleggett Před 3 lety +1

    Is there a reason you took off the front fender? Thanks

    • @urbanandwildca
      @urbanandwildca  Před 3 lety +1

      I just decided I liked the look better. Plus I live in Los Angeles where it never rains so it doesn’t have a practical purpose!!

      @@urbanandwildca Thanks, I just ordered the step-thru version the other day. Have fun and be safe.

    can you leave the front rack off? I don't see it on yours

    • @urbanandwildca
      @urbanandwildca  Před 2 lety

      Yes you can leave it off. It wasn't practical for me and I prefer the look without it. I also removed both fenders for a more bmx style look.

    How do you get it to turn on? It’s fully charged and the key doesn’t do anything

    • @urbanandwildca
      @urbanandwildca  Před 3 lety +2

      You press and hold the middle button on the screen. That's how you turn it on and off. Hope that helps!

    I have DJ super bike and one thing I can't figure out is how to turn the headlamp off without unhooking the wire. I want to have the LCD illuminated with no front light,but there seems to be no way to do that?

    • @urbanandwildca
      @urbanandwildca  Před 3 lety

      No I don't think there's a way to do that unfortunately without the lights. That's a feature I would upgrade too. I think the screen should be lit up as standard. When I wear my polarized sunglasses I can barely see it!
