You are truly an instrumental maniac (I play stylophone, bass clarinet, clarinet, alto clarinet, piano and might start learning contrabass clarinet (Mainly bc of you) . Spider Dance has always been my favorite song on the Undertale soundtrack, and I practically squealed when I saw the "Upcoming..." on my recommended. This is not just a musical masterpiece with plenty of unconventional play styles and vintage/unusual instruments, but also on a videomaking stand point, it's written perfectly and is incredibly interesting to watch and not just listen to.

oh, oh I'm ADORING the ridiculous amount and specific instruments used here, the sheer ENERGY and fun i had watching this is amazing. the choppy style editing representing the specific energy one gets listening to that song. the flutes and use of the knife, everything here is delightful. love all your work but i often just binge the videos and forget the comments but ✨✨✨

If you don't look at the obsessive virtuoso man in the video, you can imagine that each instrument is being played by a different spider.
Do not mess with any person who can use a knife as a musical instrument.
Three parts to my rating of this music video
1. Note synergy
Nailed it, 10 points for this part.
2. Dynamics/How you play the notes
You captured the bounce to the song perfectly, as well as the slight choppiness interstates within. 10 points
3. Theatrics/Editing
As per usually, the editing was on point and really helped the bounciness of the song stand out with a slight bounce to your stature. The cookies also helped fit the theme of Muffet, so 10 points in that regard.
This is just my personal opinion, but if someone watches your videos consistently and doesn’t enjoy listening, they are lying to themselves. All of your covers are not only amazing, but they also are unique in their own way. Keep being great, though I doubt you need someone to tell you.

You have once again blown me away! Of course, the use of the knife sharpening was a genius way of incorporating narrative elements into the percussion, but I was also impressed by the use of the pick on the harp to get that sharp staccato rather than a typical long resonant note. Maybe this is a common practice but I’ll admit I’ve never seen it before! The accuracy on the descending trills was amazing too, it’s such a fast paced song and you kept the note integrity so clean. The saxophones were also a fantastic choice, and you looked like you were having so much fun with the flute! And, of course, never underestimate the power of a well-placed triangle 😎 incredible work once again my guy!!
traditionally you use your nails for the picking sound but I have seen a guitar pick used on a harp before, and tbh I prefer it to the nail picking
As a violinist, the way you fingered the strings at 1:10 stabbed me in the gut.
But apart from that, I'm honestly blown away by the creativity of the presentation, and the way you used a knife for sound effects. The mastery over a variety of instruments is amazing! Another great banger has once again been released.

I love the knives used as percussion! It works so well, and honestly doesn't even feel like a gimmick, but a successful instrument.
I'm always so shocked by this man's talent. I can't possibly fathom all the hard work that went into learn and honing his skills with so many instruments, not to mention the effort that goes into planning and executing these cover pieces that, at the same time, keep so much of the original but improve upon them, putting in the exact vibe you'd want from the song, and also the editing, with references and honestly the overall good vibe he brings. I'm thankful for your work, Luke. I hope for the best for you.

this is the first video ive seen on your channel and i immediately went to go listen to all your other covers. Its mesmerizing watching you go from instrument to instrument and how they all meld together into something really cool and unique that i haven't heard in any other covers/remixes of those songs.
I also love how you talk about your thought process with each of your songs at the end of the video, while also giving people a version without the talking at the end so they can loop it or put it in a playlist. it's really cool and insightful hearing you talk about your music and i absolutely love it.

Spider Dance is one of my fave songs from Undertale, and the fact that you nailed everything in it made me smile and dance in my seat until the very end! Luke, this is incredible! I have been watching and silently admiring your videos for quite a while now, ever since I saw your cover of "Snowy" in my recommended (then I watched all of your Thomas covers!) I love your extremely innovative and well-thought arrangements and all the dedication that you put in both the music and the video. Your cover of "Battle Against A True Hero" was, I can say with confidence, the greatest Undertale cover I've ever heard (and I've heard many!) and this one was super fun aswell. This is in no way a song request, but if you like this type of soundtracks then I *highly* recommend listening to songs from rhythm games such as the Deemo soundtrack, or some of the more classical tracks from Arcaea such as "Paradise"... I feel like you would love those.
