DD doesnt say if the S/N ratio of >97db is at 1 watt or rated power, most likey rated power, the T1500BDCP S/N ratio is >100db at rated power and >80db at 1 watt.
Slew rate, thd and such like you mentioned are forgotten important specs today unfortunately. Everyone just wants big power. DD amps are great amps may not still be as popular as RF, but their products are top notch. Few companies today make quality non cookie cutter products. You pay for what you get
No it doesn’t Rated 1300rms @2ohm @14.4V Compared to the 2000rms @1 ohm Where as kicker,RF JL and other brands make them 1 & 2 ohm JL being 1.5-4ohm rated the same but that’s a whole different topic
Just replaced my JP23 for a DD M2000. Night and day difference. Used to have a fosgate t1500, and the DD is a lot louder, cleaner, and don’t take as much power

@@joshholden8561 Taramps super reliable. Everyone in Hawaii runs them. My friend had his 2000x4 for years before he sold it and still worked perfectly fine. I had 1200x4s, 440x4, 3000x1, 2000x4, etc never had any problems with any of em. Can’t beat Taramps for the price really.
Just so you guys know the clip indicator only shows clipping on the output You still have to know what your source unit /head unit clips at . Too many times I’ve met people who says they set their gains right bc their bassknob doesn’t show clipping 🤣

My powerbass xma-1205d has a signal to noise ratio of 100db and thd of less than 0.4%. The only problem is I cant find the damping rating anywhere. It just says high damping....

I got a B2 audio 2500 v2 for sale in NYC it’s a great amp with lots of clean power I was running it with 2 rampage 8s I already sold , I’m now running DC Audio 12s.
Quick question running some old setups is 1 12 inch mtx 9500 rated 1000rms better then having 2 Rockford 12 inch punch hx2 rated 500 rms a piece but together equal 1000rms my point in question is what’s louder and will hit harder 1 12 1000rms or 2 12s 1000rms total together
If we compare them to there manufacture recommended boxes, The 2 subs will sound louder away from tuning because of increased cone area, but the single 12 will absolutely sound louder at tuning. If the 2 12s box is made efficient then it will blow the single 12 at the same power. It all comes down to the box!
My opinion means nothing but it's my opinion. Fosgate, Kicker, Alpine these amps are torture tested for hrs continually to see if they maintain their specs. Maybe it's just me I've heard DD and I would still put those 3 over it concerning SQ and pure clean power any day

I have a single type r 12 in three different vehicles, no other 12 sounds better to me, the kicker cvrs I had before were trash, the last 2 type rs I purchased are in alpine built halo boxed and the get pretty low
@@jaebang1128 It was built for a 85 K5 Blazer. I've had it in several cars . Best sound was not in a trunk. 1001BD Falsgate JBL 4 channel and an Epic. I've had all of em. The Skar 10s i bought didn't fit in trunk right soni sent them back. Gonnna go with 2 Type S 10s and 600 watt Alpine we'll see want clean now

A friend got the JP 5 channel. I'm not saying one brand or another though it blows away all 5 channel amps I've heard in sound quality and definitely power. Very clean.

It’s half bridge.. full bridge technology at this point is unstable and unreliable so the established brands stay away from it.

The B2 Audio Rage 2500.1 has extremely similar specs as the DD M2000 but! $649 vs DD $860 + tax = $1000.
The b2 audio 2500.1 v2 puts out up to 3500 watts up to the clipping point.
